Hey everyone! We want to apologize for the confusion about graduation/end of the semester dates. A few months ago when we were hammering out the end of semester events, we realized that graduation and the welcome picnic were slowly creeping earlier and earlier into the year. We decided to add an extra week of break to the end of the semester, putting graduation back in May where it belongs (May 5th), and then the welcome picnic its usual week later (May 12th). We made the changes to the Google calendar, but forgot to make the changes to the academic calendar on the fandomhigh profile. We apologize for both missing the other calendar and for not making a post explaining the date shifts. If any dates shift in the future (likely for the same reason, to put annual events on a more normal date), we’ll be sure to let you all know.

On a mostly unrelated note, we’ve been looking through some old game rules/guidelines for things that don’t really apply anymore to the game as it is exists now, and one of the things we’ve decided to do away with is the personal character limit. In the past, we’ve limited players to six on-island characters, mostly to stop new players from burning themselves out. At this point, we think you all know what you can handle, so we’re taking this restriction out. Questions? Concerns? Pie because lettuce is still too dangerous to eat?

This is the calendar for the 2087-2009 academic year. It will be linked to via the [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh community and community user info page and the [livejournal.com profile] fhplotterywheel community user info page. It will also be updated to include key events as needed, but the plot calendar (linked via [livejournal.com profile] fandomhigh and [livejournal.com profile] fhplotterywheel's user info page) will still be the primary source for figuring out what's on when. This is mostly just for seeing when breaks are on and for teachers to work out their class semester schedules.

Mmmm, calandery )
