_wespryce alluded to this in an earlier post, but I'm actually asking the question outright. And getting it all in one post means it's a one-stop-all-absences check-in. Practical and easier than trawling the f-list, IMO.
So, simple question, yes/no answer, plus the days/hours you're available if you want to put them down.
Are you going to be here for Thanksgiving weekend?
This may be early, but can any of the admins give us a read on how Thanksgiving weekend will be played in Fandom? I totally get that not all players are from the US and that a tons of the characters aren't, so if things are continuing as normal, that's totally cool... I just want to know.
Will there be classes on Thursday and Friday? Will there be any Thanksgiving-type activities?
I'm going to be in Nashville (and we're driving from Chicago, OMG 10 hours in the car!) and I have no idea what my internet connectivity is going to be. I'm hoping I can get on in the hotel, and I'm fairly sure I'll be able to get at least a few minutes on while I'm at my brother's, but if I can do some preemptive things like go to Ethics on Monday, that'll help me keep from having the kind of issues I had the last time I went away. On the flip side, if I have the kind of access I'm hoping for, I'll probably want to play, 'cause there's not much else to do in a hotel room. :)
