With Jane leaving, we are looking for someone to take over Turtle & Canary. If you are interested in taking over the shop or if you want to apply another townie character then wander over here for more information.

Hi people! Just a few matters to bring up;

1. We have new townies to welcome;

sizzler_sisters Jerry Sizzler and Jerry Sizzler (Kids in the Hall - Recurring Sketch)

stanleykeyworth Dr. Stanley Keyworth (The West Wing)

2. As you all are aware from the previous post, we will be accepting teachers to apply as townie once they finish their school semester. Teachers won't have to fill out the background and writing sample on the applications.

Townies are also allowed to apply to as teacher, but they will be expected to fill out the form in its entirity and they will have to keep up with their townie duties.

3. We are looking for players to take over specific businesses in town. We need someone to take over:

- Empire Records
- Aereopagitica Used and Rare Books
- The arms hotel (Note; The hotel can be an intensive commitment as it is needed to host people during big events such as Parent's Weekend.)

I have a few announcements about townies this morning.

First of all, let's all welcome

scrabblecyborg - Hannelore Ellicott-Chatham (Questionable Content)

clipboard_fu - Doctor McNinja (Dr. McNinja)

This means that we are no longer specifically looking for a doctor character. We are however looking for someone to take over Empire Records and Bidet from Maureen. So if you think you know a character suitable for the job, go right ahead and apply!

Thirdly I'm going to do some free pimping and point townies and teachers in the direction of our very new repairmen business Guy with tools, in case you hadn't noticed.

And as last item on the list, Stuff for Sale is, of course, going for the Valentine theme this month.

2007 is going to bring a huge change for

fandomtownies. Starting today applications to the community will be opened and stay open indefinitely (or until the comm gets too big). We feel that right now, townies will benefit more from a steady influx of new townie characters instead of the occasional application round.

While any and all applications are welcome, we are also specifically looking for someone to take over Mauvaise Chance Apartments and the Garage and a new medical character (check out

fandom_clinic and see if you can find a doctor that might be able to handle something that isn't offered yet in the game).
