Two random events, at least!

This upcoming Wednesday, May 15th Fandom will suffer a sudden and unplanned invasion of flying fire-breathing Jalapenos! The evil floating creatures will attack Fandom at the crack of dawn and won't be leaving until midnight that night...

...but if you want to call your friends to let them know it's all clear, alas! A snip in the wires is going to lead us straight into Crazy Phone Day on Thursday, May 16th. All calls, messages, etcetera will be relegated to the wrong voicemail boxes, spreading the chaos around.

Hey everyone! We have a few announcements we want to share to get everyone prepared for some events!

This Saturday, we're going to be dipping back into our bag of tricks and having another Crazy Phone Day! Yes, that event started by the one and only Marty Blank is coming back! If you've been here for a previous Crazy Phone Day, you know how it goes. If you haven't, check out the examples here and here! Basically, every phone call you make could possibly get re-routed to the wrong voicemail. Hijinxs ensue!

Also, we want to give a little warning for this since you might need to prep your characters: next weekened, Fandom's going to be hit by a pretty nasty blizzard. It's going to knock out power to the dorms and most of the town (Caritas will remain with electricity). However, fireplaces will appear in all common rooms and all businesses to keep people warm. If you're a business owner, you may mod generator power if you need to! Extra blankets will appear in all the common rooms too, and cuddling is encouraged (please make sure you have permission to cuddle beforehand, though)!

Crowley's going to be causing some mischief.

Friday the phone system is going on the fritz. Voice mails will be dropped. Calls will be incomplete or without a signal.

Play of this is entirely voluntary, but please feel free to have calls go to the wrong people (gee Vala, didn't you mean to call Cam instead of that Harkness boy?), have words and phrases dropped from your conversations, or simply be unable to connect.

Thanks for anticipating this, and have a frustrating Friday!
