Hello everyone! It's time to weetiny! Students, teachers, and townies alike will wake up as pint-sized versions of themselves next weekend, November 23rd and 24th!

A quick reminder about how this works:

- Participation is completely optional.
- If you choose to participate, your character needs to wake up as a kid (edited to re-add ages 4-10) on Saturday morning and stay that way the whole weekend until waking up back to normal on Monday morning.
- The kids won't be terrified to wake up in Fandom, due to the wackiness. It's more like they've always been here.
- Clothing will be shrunk down as well, and all the weapons will turn into toys so no one can hurt themselves accidentally.
- This is open to alumni and expats as well!

Time to go hunting for stock photos of small children, pics of your PB as a child actor, or screencaps from a flashback episode! Questions, comments, witty stories?

Good morning/afternoon/evening, folks! It's time to weetiny! Students, teachers, and townies alike will wake up on Saturday as pint-sized versions of themselves next weekend, November 18 & 19th.

Hello folks! As mentioned, this coming weekend is going to be Weetiny Homecoming, which means we need to prep for a weetiny carnival! If you'd like to be part of the carnival, or you have an idea for something we should toss in for the children, please leave a comment below!

Hello! It's time to mash two great tastes that taste great together: Weetiny Weekend and Homecoming! So that means it's time to go hunting for stock photos of small children, pics of your PB as a child actor, or screencaps from a flashback episode because students, teachers, townies and poor, innocent alumni back for a reunion dance are all about to become small! You all know these by now, but let's run you through the Rules of Weetiny anyway:

- Students, teachers, alumni and townies alike will wake up on Saturday as pint-sized versions (ages 4-10, or the species equivalent) of themselves.
- Participation is completely optional.
- If you choose to participate, your character needs to wake up as a kid on Saturday morning and stay that way the whole weekend until waking up back to normal on Tuesday morning.
- The kids won't be scared to wake up in Fandom, due to the wackiness. It's more like they've always been here.
- Clothing will be shrunk down as well, and all the weapons will turn into toys so no one can hurt themselves accidentally.

"How will this mesh with Homecoming, though?" you ask. You are very wise! The Homecoming Dance will take place like a normal dance, where everyone is their normal ages, on Friday, November 11th. On Saturday, everyone who chooses to will wake up tiny. The Homecoming Carnival will become weetinified (complete with a ball pit: the alumni get five extra minutes in it!), the brunch will be weetinified, and then everyone...will still be small for Monday morning classes.

Because more chaos=more fun!

Everyone wakes up like normal on Tuesday and pretends none of this ever happened.

Sure, for many of us it's the time of year where the sun starts setting at 3pm, maybe you've even seen some first hints of snow, you & your coworkers are contemplating setting up a virtual "Scream Into The Void" room (maybe that last one's just me)... but guess what, there's an adorable bright spot on the horizon because this weekend (November 13th and 14th) is Weetiny Weekend! Students, teachers, and townies alike will wake up on Saturday as pint-sized versions of themselves.

But wait, you say, didn't we already do this once this year?

Well... you're not wrong. There was a Weetiny Weekend back in January, because the Adults-to-Teens weekend took its' usual November slot last year. But Fandom's gonna Fandom, and the island can sometimes be a stickler for tradition, so it's Weetiny-ing things up again, with a slightly picky twist: only those characters who didn't go weetiny in January will turn into kids this time around.

A quick reminder about how this works:

- Participation is completely optional.
- If you choose to participate, your character needs to wake up as a kid on Saturday morning and stay that way the whole weekend until waking up back to normal on Monday morning.
- The kids won't be terrified to wake up in Fandom, due to the wackiness. It's more like they've always been here.

Hey-o, Fandom! We interrupt your quiet Sunday to announce that next weekend (November 12th/13th) will be Cyberpunk Weekend! Much in the vein of events like Soap Opera Weekend, on this weekend, everything on the island will get turned into a dark, terrifying cyberpunk-stravaganza. An island on which Bo is not a succubus... but a sexbot, programmed to kill. The island's bars... could become simulation dens, where the rich and powerful pay good money to jack their brains into cyberspace! And of course, there is a sinister conspiracy at the heart of it all...

Maybe multiple sinister conspiracies. Maybe everyone's a robot. Maybe everyone thinks everyone is a robot, but they are not, in fact, robots! Maybe... well, you get the gist. (Or maybe your character wakes up that morning and is normal. It's entirely possible.) Cyberpunk tropes are here, if you need inspiration!

After Cyberpunk Weekend has passed, we continue on to Weetiny Weekend is up on November 19th-20th! You all know these by now, but let's run you through the rules anyway:

- Students, teachers, and townies alike will wake up on Saturday as pint-sized versions of themselves.

- Clothing will be shrunk down as well, and all the weapons will turn into toys so no one can hurt themselves accidentally.

Hey folks! We interrupt your safari for a whole bunch of announcements all rolled into one tasty post.

First! This Saturday, October 13th, will be the next Open Forum. As usual, a friends-locked post will go up in this community in the morning (Eastern time) and will be open to all current players who want to make suggestions and raise issues they think should be discussed by the player base. The open forums are a place for people to bounce ideas around and get some discussion going. All we ask is that you be polite and considerate to each other. After that we'll round up all the issues that have been raised and get to work addressing them!

Second! Next weekend, October 19th-21st, is Fandom High's annual Homecoming weekend. This year, the dance will be posted on Friday, the carnival will be posted on Saturday, and there will be a brunch on Sunday as usual. But the carnival is going to be a little different this year, because next Saturday and Sunday is also going to be Weetiny Weekend! (That could make waking up next to your Homecoming date a little more interesting...) We still need volunteers for the carnival booths, but the booths will be a little different than expected come Saturday morning:

- Kissing booths will be hugging booths! Let's hope no one contracts cooties!
- Dunking booths will involve kiddie pools and optional swimmies.
- Pie throwing booths will... remain unchanged because really, it's messy enough for little kids to begin with.

If you would like to be in one of the booths at the carnival, weetiny or not, sign up in the appropriate OCD below! There's also a spot for aaaaany questions about any of the above.

As some of you may know if you stalk the plot calender, the weekend of the 12th/13th of this month has an event.

That event? Weetiny weekend.

So, pick out your weeeeetiny PBs now, folks! Or shuffle icons, or... do something. Because it's an icon addiction for all of us.

Also coming up: Starting this coming Tuesday, the 8th, the washing machines all over Fandom will be striking. And they won't give into washing clothing again until Monday, the 14th. So, have fun with that, folks.

Yes, boys and girls, it's that time of year again. The first weekend in August, the 2nd and 3rd to be exact, all adults will turn into weetiny kids.

A reminder for those who don't remember or this is their first time doing this:

- The kids will not be terrified of waking up on a big island due to Fandom wacky.
- Also due to that wacky, weapons will be toys so no one can get themselves hurt.
- Clothing will be mysteriously shrunk down as well. Because we don't need another naked mutiny with small ones running about.
- This is for Townies and Teachers!
- If you choose to participate, waking up that Saturday your character will be a kid the whole weekend through until waking up Monday morning again.

Hooray!

For those of you who weren't here last time, here's the sitch on Weetiny Weekend:

* Students only
* If your character wakes up as a kidlet this morning, they stay as a kidlet until they fall asleep on Sunday night (and then wake up normal on Monday morning)
* If your character wakes up normal this morning, they stay normal for the entire weekend (no switching later on!)
* They think that being in Fandom with their friends and without their family is totally normal
* They think that being weetiny is normal
* Their clothes have weetinified to fit them thanks to the handwaviness of Fandom

Enjoy!

ETA: All weapons belonging to students/that students can get access to are now toys and therefore harmless. Still, try not to poke anyone's eye out or you'll have to go sit in the corner! And no dessert after dinner!
[identity profile] ismyhairout.livejournal.com
Hello!

If you were planning on doing anything other than sit at the computer next weekend (April 28-29), you might want to change those plans. Why? It's the return of Weetiny Weekend!

That's right, all STUDENTS will have the option of turning into tiny tots (age 10 and under) overnight on Friday night. They will wake up as young'uns and think that's perfectly normal, but still recognize their surroundings and their friends. They'll just be wee. This will run until Sunday night and by Monday morning, the tots will have woken up in their regular teenage form.

Adults (teachers and townies) will remain their regular selves. Poor things.

The weetininess (and I swear, that's a word now) is totally voluntarily and due to the handwavey nature of Fandom. So if you don't want to be a kid, you don't have to be, but do consider it because it's an absolute blast.

Questions, comments, cake? You know where to find us.
[identity profile] bugofjustice.livejournal.com
Folks, thank you for making this weekend a ton of fun. Personally, I think this even beat out the original WeeTiny Weekend in terms of awesomeness. Then again, I didn't have to send weetinies to time out this weekend while trying to figure out why my work computer hated me for nine hours on a Saturday, so I may be biased.

On Monday morning, all of the weetinies will return to their adult forms with full memories of what happened this weekend. Also, since there are a bunch of weetinies in the dorms still if you want them to go to sleep there, that's fine. By the power of Fandom magic, they'll wake up in their own beds, though.

Students, make sure your teachers never live this down. Adults, you'll get your revenge in time. And once again, thank you all. This was a blast.
[identity profile] bruiser-in-pink.livejournal.com
Yes, weetiny adults are allowed in the dorms since the authority figures who would normally keep them out are mostly wee themselves.

Just a reminder to the students involved in Wee!FH that, as per the original post about it, being wee is supposed to seem perfectly natural to all of them. Thanks!
[identity profile] drywitmartini.livejournal.com
As soon as the kiddies wake up on Saturday morning, you have the option of making them weetiny children under the age of 10. Please note that the change *must* be made when they wake up in the morning or not at all - no changing in between.

Another thing to note is that all weapons/explosives/items of high damage have been transformed in this weird and wacky oddity. They are now harmless. Guns are now either laser tag guns or plastic guns depending on the gun you may get your hands on. Explosives are now completely harmless as well. This is meant to be fun, yo. That means no weetiny children running around with hardcore weapons.

Aside from that, have fun and keep an eye out for some townie events for the wee kiddies.

All effects will last until the kids wake up on Monday morning.

As I said before, there won't be an actual detention this week. Tick doesn't know that, though. All volunteers will be taken. If you sign up, Zordon will call your name tomorrow. On Saturday, Tick will track you down somewhere and make you sit in the nearest corner for 10 minutes.

After all, if the students are scaled down, the punishment should be, too. It'll just be a brief, nutty addition to your weetiny day.
[identity profile] drywitmartini.livejournal.com
Hello my freaky darlings!

So we have a plot coming up this weekend. It is for STUDENTS ONLY. Teachers and townies will have their day eventually, but this a last big Fandom High 'hurrah' for the students to finish off the academic year.

As of Saturday morning, all students wishing to participate in this plot will wake up and find themselves physically and mentally child-like. That is to say, when they wake up they shall be wee, tiny and aged in the single digits. Those students who are affected will remember who everyone is, but will look, think and act as if they are very young. Wacky hijinks ensue.

The wee!FH plot will last from Saturday morning until Monday morning. On Monday morning students will wake up back to their normal selves.

As this plot is run this weekend, it should not interfere with any classes or exams (unless you didn't study and have an exam and want to run with the "wah I screwed up!" idea).

Again, this plot is voluntary, but is for STUDENTS only. Any students that do not wish to participate do not have to. We're palming this off as one of those wacky things that seem to happen in Fandom.

A few notes:

Clothes - your clothes will change size with your body for the sake of supplies and logistics. The kiddies can change into big kids' clothes if you want, but to save us having to re-clothe a whole bunch of kids, when you wake up as a kid on Saturday morning your clothes will fit.

Knowledge - you will recognize the people around you. This is to make the plot wacky fun rather than emo. So rather than a whole bunch of kids wailing for their mommy, they'll know all of their friends and nice teacher peoples (whom I'm sure they will torment, especially that nice Professor Ms Rita Skeeter blonde lady because she just LOVES kids) and will have wacky wee adventures all weekend.

Adults - go, torment, have fun. If any of the adults don't want to be involved, find some way to simply avoid the kids. You're a creative bunch. You'll think of something. But if you want blackmail material, a good story to tell the parents on the next Parents Weekend or just a good belly laugh, feel free to get involved with looking after a few of the kidlets and dealing with tiny tots being around.

Ages - you can pick which age you want your kidlet to be, but keep it under the age of 10 to keep in the spirit of the plot.

Icons - yes, feel free to make icons of your wee!character. If you need any assistance finding a picture, ask around. Everyone's willing to help.

Above all else, HAVE FUN. Don't hesitate to ask any questions.
