Applications for new students and teachers end Sunday! The application form is over here!

Applications for workshops for the first summer session are over here and are also due Sunday! Please don't make me beg and cry for more classes. It will be embarrassing.

Graduation is Saturday, May 1, and we're still operating under the graduation guest policy of God, We're Tired and Old: bring in any guest from your canon you'd like, within reason.

Guest NPCs can have their own journals. Whether or not your character knows their guests are coming is totally up to you and your level of evilitude. NPC guests are only for seniors. Other students are more than welcome to attend the graduation ceremony in support of their friends, but they can't bring their own NPCs. All guests are welcome to visit campus but need to sleep in town. Guests have to leave the island by Monday.

First of all, please sheathe your weapons (ESPECIALLY YOU, DEADPOOL) and put your hands together for our newest townsperson, Shokudaikiri Mitsutada (

battlewithstyle), from Touken Ranbu Hanamaru. Welcome, Mitsu-bou; may your blade never be dull.

Second: given the reduced size of our player group and consequently reduced number of applications we now receive during open periods, we've decided to open up the Early Application process to everyone. (Something we would have liked to do a long time ago, if it had been feasible.) So now there's no requirement that it be the first time you've apped a teacher or that you must have no current students for the upcoming term. As long as you get your application in by December 3rd, and mark it as an Early Application*, you'll get feedback and a chance to make changes if there's anything we think is missing or needs more information.

*We've added a space on the application form just for that. You folks who've been storing apps as documents, please, before you submit them, go to the official form and check to see that your app matches it. Most of us have apps we've been saving forever and a day, and the app form does change over time, so let's make sure what we send in has all the correct information!

This would normally be the time we'd interrupt your BDE-ing to remind you that applications for the summer session are due by Sunday night, but since we've done a bit of calendar juggling this month to straighten out some seasonal stuff, we've actually got a little extra time, and we're passing that on to you so you don't need to fight off infestations and come up with writing samples at the same time.

You've now got until Tuesday night, April 26th at 11:59pm Pacific to get those apps in!

Hey there! Special announcement for y'all.

Applications for the next term were meant to close at midnight last night/this morning, as mentioned in the original announcement and the reminder earlier this week, but we've just realized there was a typo on the FH profile page that showed a later date, which could have caused some confusion.

So to make sure nobody misses out, we're extending the deadline until tonight at 11:59 Pacific. If you've got a student or teacher app (especially teachers!) burning a hole in your GDocs, now's the time to get those babies in.

The BDE deadline for signing up for Team Help With SKIENCE (Jane and Hermione's initial group), Team Detective (the Arkham and Miskatonic group), the Finale Defenders (Science/Magic and Fighters) and Finale: Crazy Friends Turned Monsters is tomorrow at 11:59PM Eastern Time.

The island is having another random event all day Thursday, July 28th: we will be invaded by storks carrying blankets full of...well, pet rocks. The storks are slightly confused about what was supposed to be in the blankets, traditionally speaking. They will be following people around, trying to deliver their packages, sitting on rooftops, leaving piles of stork poo behind...

And finally, early applications close on Friday, July 29th. You qualify is your application falls into one of the following categories:

a) Student applications where the player does not have a current student
b) Teacher applications where the player has not previously played a teacher
c) Applications from new players to the game

We will consider it and, if there are any issues with it, will get back to you by August 2nd to give you a chance to make changes. Players in this situation will then have five days to make any changes and re-submit their application.

Wij hebben dit blok besloten om alles helemaal om te gooien. Alle personages die geaccepteerd worden moeten eerst drie keer een koprol demonstreren, waarna wij stelselmatig iedereen een aantal kilo ijs laten eten.
