The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round....
Ladies, gentlemen, Fandom-types, lend us your ears!
This upcoming Sunday, June 27th, Ghanima and Algren would like to have one last big outing before the next term starts, new students file in, and Algren takes his leave. They're looking to organize a field trip to the mainland, to take in both the Maryland Science Center and the Maryland Zoo, and, rather than limiting the outing to the students who were in their Surviving and Thriving class, they would like to extend an open invitation to any islander who would like to tag along for the day.
Because, honestly now, who doesn't want to come along on a field trip when the teachers organizing it have booked up all of the open slots in the morning penguin feeding program?
The morning will start with a trip to the Maryland Zoo, where students can participate in the penguin feeding program, before going off to tour the exhibits on their own or in groups. They will meet-up at 1:00 at the gift shop, before getting in SCHOOL BUSES (yay!) and going to a local park, where they can enjoy pre-packed lunches courtesy of the chefs at the Fandom High Cafeteria. Then it's off to the Maryland Science Center. Participants can once again split up to enjoy the exhibits and movies, before needing to meet back at the Breaker's Cafe for dinner at 5:30.
Once the museum closes, it's time to get back on the buses, and everyone will be taken home to dream of everything they learned that day.
The trip will be posted in three sections, one for each stop, with OCD provided, but like Spring Break trips, this relies on you to make your own fun. There are NO shenanigans planned (unlike Algren's previous field-trips!), it's just a basic school outing, to give you all some access to experiences outside Fandom.
All students and teachers are invited, and townies/alumni are welcome if they are invited by a teacher or student.
We are asking that people sign-up by Saturday at 5 p.m. CST, just so we know how many people will be there when we're crafting our OCDness.

Also, the lovely Sookieface's player might be afk until eveningish, so I'm signing her up while she can't say no. Or, okay, she said I could sign her up. One of those.

At the moment, I don't know if I believe you about the world not ending. I'm pretty sure lightning just struck my neighbor's house.
