State Of Them There Characters!

It's been about two months since we last did state o' the characters so we're gonna rectify that today! Everyone loves gabbing about their characters, don't even lie, so this is your chance. Talk as much or as little as you'd like! Talk about whatever you'd like! Upcoming plots, relationships (both romantic and friendship), enemies, plans for the future, anything!

And, for all you new kids, you can do this too! Feel free to talk about your first impressions, people you've met and things you think you might wanna do! It's fun for all ages!

Character's current goings on: Sometimes, it's hard for me to play her because she's so intensive and tiring. But, she's having fun hexing students and pissing off teachers. I'm enjoying her games of give and take with Anakin and Wade, particularly. I'd love to see her thread more with Roy. She'll be leaving soon but not before a big explosive ending.

Character's current goings on: Nothing much. Just hanging around and enjoying Fandom.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): My boy is about to get crushed. Mwahahahahahahahahhahahahha.
Needs threads with: EVERYONE. I've only got a few weeks left with him before he leaves.

Character name: Dana Scully
Character's current mood: adapting and annoyed
Character's current goings on: Right now, Dana's working at the clinic, doing science stuff with her friends, and slooooowly regressing emotionally. Slowly enough that she's still in denial about it. But her impulse control is taking a beating, and she's reacting to things less coolly than Agent Scully used to do. She's noticed she's attracted to guys a few years older than her own physical age, and she's embarrassed about it. Mulder's figured it out, and tried to hint to her, but she's going LALALALA and not accepting it.

Sometimes she *is* hard for me to play; she's an introvert, she's got a lot of secrets, and she's got a relentlessly serious outlook, it sometimes seems like. This makes bonding difficult. I had the most fun recently when she got stuck in the elevator and her snarky and exasperated side got a work-out with Momoko and Lion-O.

Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I think maybe she ought to tell the truth about herself to someone other than Faith, but I can't think who/how/why. We'll see how it goes after this week's plot, maybe. Maybe she'd lighten up without that mental burden on her all the time. She's having fun here, both because she gets to explore things, and because her worldview is validated and people don't give her "your partner's crazy" look all the time, even if they think her reliance on science is geeky and futile.

Needs threads with: Everyone! Seriously, she's gonna be here a long time, but I'd like to find people she can really *click* with, aside from a couple she doesn't seem to have difficulties communicating around. She has great threads with Claudia, Triela, Rosalind and Karla, but everyone else she keeps at a distance. Must fix that.

Character name: Luke Castellan
Character's current mood: Pretty good with underlying ever-present rage issues.
Character's current goings on: Nothing much! Just getting used to the place.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I thiiiiiink I'm gonna have Kronos start talking to him in the fall and set him on the way to the path of evil \o/ I'm a sick person. Also I can't wait until PW so I can inflict gods on this town.
Needs threads with: Well, everyone, since he's new. But he does like talking to Katniss, Karla and Ino. And Tracy will say he needs to talk to Jason Todd more.

Character name: Yamanaka Ino

Character's current mood: Blank, mostly. Though she’s lying her ass off in posts and threads about that. Hurrah for lying little sneaks?

Character's current goings on: Dealing with the death of her sensei and the fact that she doesn’t really have a team at the moment, mostly. Underneath it all is settling into the fact that she maybe really does believe that Zack’ll stick around and she’s been using her need to distract herself from all of the above to talk to new people and people who’re new-to-her because I am cowardly and lazy about pinging new people and am trying to fix that.

Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Not a whole lot, alas. I failed miserably on remembering to submit for the Field of Dreams plot (after I moved a plot up just because of it, I am brilliant, really ^^; ). So she’s just... dealing with stuff at the moment and pretending she’s mostly not. Except when she decides to go HEY I’LL TALK ABOUT THIS for, like, very little reason. IDEK guys.

... Yeah, so, I don’t exactly control what Ino has in mind.

Needs threads with: Everyone ever! Ummm. A lot of the new kids. A lot of the old kids. I’ve been flinging her at people I don’t normally fling her at so I think that’s... good? (Though if I am annoying you, I am so so sorry?)

Character name: Hyuuga Hinata

Character's current mood: Content with a side of worried.

Character's current goings on: Right this moment? Not a whole lot. Work, classes, taking care of Yei and talking to people.

Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Hmmm. Nothing that I’ve got planned (which I should probably fix, as there are canon things I need to do), and something she’s involved in with other characters.

Needs threads with: Everyone! Because she just dooooes. Do I need a reason? And if I list people I’ll forget someone, I know it, and then I’ll be sad ‘cause I don’t want to forget people.

Character's current mood: Trying-for-Stolid.

Character's current goings on: Mooostly being snarky and waspish at people. Pretending she doesn’t know she died in one universe. It is complicated.

Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Mmmm Field of Dreams. <3 It is thanks to the awesome that is Relly that I did not fail miserably for THIS character.

Needs threads with: Eveeeryone. She needs to get about more but I worry ‘cause she’s not exactly the nicest of conversationalists. (She’s nice underneath the bitchy, I swear. She just... doesn’t express that very well.) And so I flail and stuff. I think I am just made of flail, really.

Character name: Hannibal King
Character's current mood: Relieved with a side of dread
Character's current goings on: He and Angela finally managed to have the ZOMG FUTURE talk. It went pretty well, all things considered. They don't wanna break up but he's not gonna follow her and she won't follow him so we'll see. At this point, he's definitely going to go towards his canon and get vampified for realsies for a little bit, at least. I am totes looking forward to that. Hannibal is not.

Other than that, he's working at the bar and working on his tan and hoping to enjoy the last few weeks he has on the island.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Leaving the island! WOE. And then canon DUN DUN DUN where I might try and incorporate some of his Fandom friends. We'll see. He's getting vamped though so if his friends wanna encounter that? LEMME KNOW OMG.

Character name: Tahiri Veila
Character's current mood: Contemplative. A little moody -- it's that time of year, after all, and the anniversary of Anakin's death is on her mind; even if they got her back from it, watching Raven try and sacrifice herself for everyone else's sake really kind of twigged that issue.

But she's stable, and largely doing well, and is immensely grateful for that.

Character's current goings on: Just the slightly moody contemplativeness for now. She's got classes and reserves, that's about it.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): There is definitely stuff planned for this week, oh yeah. I'm waiting to see how that shakes out to figure things out from there as far as her final year (*WIBBLE*) in Fandom goes.

Character's current goings on: Not much, working, training, waiting. The plot this week should help her a bit. Maybe. We'll see.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I have an idea for a tiny little plot to run, but it needs a specific set of circumstances to work, so I'm just waiting for that to happen. In the mean time there's new canon coming at the end of the month, so that might give me an idea or two.

Character's current goings on: He's counting down the days until Chuck leaves.

Character's current goings on: It's been a tough summer for my girl. Abandonment issues reared their ugly heads at graduation and then again about a week or so ago. She's still not sorted out about 'Dite, she's upset about what happened with Raven, and she's just pretty darn confused about a lot of things. She's trying not to let that all bother her, but it can be tough sometimes.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I am SO looking forward to Field of Dreams. There are several other plots brewing that she's involved in that are coming up, too, which have all been fun. Also, I need to put her through a wee bit of happy fun canon catch-up before more Bad Things Happen back home.

Character's current goings on: Her demon dad's invasion of this dimension has been stopped for now, but at the cost of her mother. :( :( :( Conveniently she will use people's Field of Dreams angst to distract her from her own issues, wheee! It's what she does so well.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I need to figure out exactly when I want to run the second Trigon arc (next year sometime, not too soon at all), but in the meantime, there's her evil brothers (and seriously WTF THAT COVER WTF RAVEN STEP AWAY FROM YOUR BROTHERS) and the seven deadly sins to play with if I feel so inclined. Oh, come on, it's fun figuring out who she'd turn into Lust ~~(Karla)~~, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Gluttony, and Greed to replace her lame-ass brothers. (Oh, canon. You so cracky.)

Character's current goings on: Well, as of last night, she found out that her bad bad uncle is dead and that she gets to keep her grandmother's house. And eventually she's going to figure out that Bill is responsible for said uncle's untimely demise, which'll kick off a big plot in August (I am still sort of squeeing, yes.) But until then, she doesn't know how to feel about that stuff, and then the Field of Dreams plot is going to be crushing this week. For me, mostly.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): The plot next month is blending season 2 of the show and book 2 of the series, for those who know. And I am super-excited.
Needs threads with: EVERYONE. But she really needs to talk to Raven at some point because she's worried after what Bobby told her. Beyond that, Sookie <3s friends yayz.

Character's current mood: OK, though I've neglected her recently due to Raven plottiness
Character's current goings on: She's been completely oblivious to what's been going on with her future daughter, which must be fixed. And there's the Bring Out Your Dead plot this week, which is going to be sooooo much fun. Between her dead mama and her dead future son, I am going to break her into itty bitty pieces. :D :D :D
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I should send her home for another canon catch-up soon, wherein she starts getting info about this Death Star thing. And gets in Vader's face. :D

Character name: Katniss Everdeen
Character's current mood: guarded
Character's current goings on: Katniss is sort of beginning to relax here. She still thinks she has a good chance of being under surveillance while she's here, which is why she's always careful about what she says (and you are all completely welcome to pick it up if I narratively say she's lying, because she's canonically not great at it.) But she's learning that people here are actually as nice as they say, no one expects her to kill any of them, and that while she might do it for something to do, there's enough food that she doesn't need to hunt for it. She's sort of irritable about how much people seem to take that for granted, but there's not a lot she can do about it. Otherwise, she's settling in and getting comfortable here, and she's making friends. (Katniss thinks of them more as 'allies,' really, but yeah.)
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): I have nothing for her until like six months from now, when I start her Victory Tour over winter break!
Needs threads with: Well, everyone. She only knows a handful of you. But so far she's really liked talking to Luke, Bod, Wesley, Hinata, Kennedy, Madison (for roomie time!), and she actually really likes Rosalind (because the bitchy works for her. :D)

Character's current mood: Not too bad!
Character's current goings on: I've been really working on getting him out more and, so far, I've been pleased with that. I love this boy dearly and he's going nowhere so I'm glad I'm starting to settle into a groove with him. Most of his goings on revolve around him learning new and exciting thing. For instance, Beka almost took her shirt off in front of him the other day and he needs to figure out HOW HE CAN MAKE THAT HAPPEN MORE.

I need to send him up to see Gabe and maybe try and twist canon around to involve a threat from the Community but that's all up in the air. Right now, I want to work on getting him out and getting him oriented and interacting with people.
Coming up (stuff that you've got planned that's on the horizon): Nothing much! Going with the flow, trying to see what he and Beka can get up to, making friends!
