BDE: Through dangers untold and hardships unnumbered...

decoder_rings HERE, it's time for a magic dance.
That's right, boys and girls, the Goblin King is bringing his labyrinth to Fandom December 5th - 11th! He's decided that with so many people on the island that have been sort-of 'wished away' by their parent/guardian/families, that it means they're fair game for him and that the island ought to be a natural extension of his realm.
Whether you know it or not, goblins exist. And they have a king. And that king is coming to Fandom, intent on kidnapping a select group of Fandom students to take back to his lair in order to create a line of heirs for himself. What does that mean? That means Labyrinth in Fandom! That means goblins, the Bog of Eternal Stench, the oubliette, and everything else! Having heard about this island, Jareth, the Goblin King, makes his way to Fandom to claim the unwanted children and groom them as goblin princes and princesses. Per the movie canon, any student that's been wished away by a loved one will be eligible here but we'd be RNGing if too many people signed up.
Once Jareth has his six or so group of students safely locked up in his castle, it's time for him to be DISCOVERED and for those that want to try and save their friends to enter THE LABYRINTH. In the labyrinth, they will encounter a myriad of creatures, dead ends, places where they'll lose hope and maybe even JARETH HIMSELF.
Edit: So, how do you know if you qualify as "wished away"? If you've seen the movie, you know that Toby got taken in the movie because his sister just vehemently wanted him gone: "I wish the goblins would come and take you away. Right now."
Emma Frost would count, because her parents intended to put her in an insane asylum because they did not want to acknowledge 'crazy little Emma.' She's at Fandom of her own free will currently, but the it was the abandonment by her family that allowed for that. Ender Wiggin's older brother wants him sent far away to allow for Peter's own rise. While Valentine loves her brother, Ender has been wished away by Peter, and one heart-felt wish is enough to catch Jareth's ear.
Jono Starsmore would NOT count. Despite the fact that Jono feels alienated and unwanted, he was not abandoned by the people at Massachusetts Academy. While he wound up in Fandom in the wake of accidentally blowing up one of the Academy's dorm buildings, the people at the Academy wanted him to remain at Fandom quite literally for his own emotional and physical well-being. Bruce Wayne would also not count, because while his parents are DEEEEEEEEEEEAD, it was not a deliberate abandonment, but a sad accident.
It's easy for the residents of the island (especially teenagers!) to feel cast-away or abandoned by family, but if you were sent away for your safety or out of love, or through an accident, you weren't wished away in a manner that would catch Jareth's attention.
