It's 20 Years Reunion Time For Fandom, Ole!

Hello, Fandomites!

The weekend of April 2nd - 3rd will be 20 Years Reunion weekend at Fandom High! On Friday, April 1st, all the alumni and expats of Fandom will be invited back for a truly Fandom April Fools' Day dance, to have a little fun and meet a few old friends. But after everyone goes to bed that night, Fandom magic sets in, and a whole different alumni-and-expat event will take place... as the twenty-year-older versions of everyone (should they so choose) on-island are going to find themselves waking up in their old dorm rooms, homes, or hotel rooms.

Yes, that means this time, the event is open to everyone: townies, teachers, students, expats and alumni! The twenty-year-older versions of your characters will be temporarily replacing their younger selves for the weekend, thinking that they're coming back for a normal reunion. On Monday, everyone'll be back to normal - with or without memories of the event, depending on your preference. Remember: these are possible futures, so feel free to go wild with it - who knows how things will actually pan out!

Questions? Comments? Pie?

QUESTION, since I am randomly awake (oh, time change, how I hate...)

If you have, say, an NPC baby, should they age up along with their parents - i.e., Juliet and Grace and Talyn and Jan and Alex and so on should all be in their early twenties? Or are the babies staying babies despite the parents' ages?

ANOTHER QUESTION: What should we do with characters who will die in the next 20 years? Can they just quietly vanish, or should they stay un-aged?

And a third: Can we have a planning post to play in? I know that with the AU kids we just kind of assume everyone knows everyone, but this might take a little more backstory coordination. (It is also possible I am being OCD.)

The mental spreadsheets I started frantically developing within two minutes of reading this post say you are not being too OCD. *cough*

Is it exactly 20 years in the future or a give or take? I ask coming from a canon where 19 years in the future is the start of the actual canon and 20 years is along the end of canon.

So, uh, say you have a character for whom it's canonically plausible to jump 20 years into the future without aging . . . could that happen?

Awesome! Now to decide which is most evil. =oD

Oooh! She can join George in the "gosh, you don't look any different" party over in the corner.

(... and, as always, George looks cranky, while I am squeeing. This is the difficulty of using George to comment OOC.)

George: .... clearly, I need to hang out with more vampires.

Aging? What's that?

If it's canonically possible for your character to go 20 years without aging, then you can totally do that!

Ghanima is very smug about this particular side-effect of spice. She shall be youthful and pretty right up until she dies at 300+ something.
