The Island Keeps Moving and Moving and Moving and Moving
You may have enjoyed yourself in Egypt with the warm weather and the chance to take a look around the past, but that time has now passed. Along with the 80s.
Oh god, the 80s.
But now it's time once again for Fandom to move to the next location.

Tokyo, Japan (Approximately 30 years in our future)
There have been two more world wars since our time, one of which was nuclear. The technological advances that followed the wars have pushed what is considered science fiction into what is now reality.
Direct connections between the mind and machines, synthetic limbs and, in extreme cases, even entire bodies. Skyscrapers jut up high into the dark skies, shining brightly in the neon lights of the city. Some say that at night, artificial bodies hurl themselves from tower to tower, hunting and hunted...
But not all is well and perfect in this time! Far from it, in fact. It rains nearly all the time due to the damage caused by the nuclear war. While the radiation has been cleaned up thanks to some of the advances, there is no cure for the weather. Government control and protection is tenuous at best, reserved mostly for those who can afford to pay for it. So, do try to be careful out there.

Mmmm. OH YEAH.
(Shut up, I loved King of My Castle as a song when I was wee, and Ghost in the Shell is classy to the max.)

Reno is going to feel SO AT HOME here. Omg.
Except for the rain. He can give or take the rain.
