Random Event for This Weekend (...clop clop clop...)
Greetings, everypony! Guess what?

Well, it would behoove you to pretend you haven't, so we can pretend the rest of this announcement isn't superfluous.
This weekend, starting Saturday morning, the 19th of May, everyonewhose player so desires -- you, too, alums and expats, whether on-island or off -- will be waking up with a mane, a tail and a cutie mark!* Unless you're Pinkie Pie, who has the option of turning human if she likes, or just gamboling about with the rest of us ponies again.
The effect will last until people wake up on Monday morning (or 3 a.m. Fandom time if you're stubborn enough to stay up just to see when you change back) and the ponies will be normal pony-sizes (not the size of toy ponies) but beyond that, their appearance is pretty much wide open. Wings, horns, rainbows or your average earth-standard palomino; it's all up to you.
To help you, er... pony up, we've got links to a number of totally-not My Little Pony (because that's copyrighted OMG) generators for you; you're also welcome to scour the internets for photos of actual custom ponies based on your character. Deviantart is a great place to look for those!
*Cutie-mark, which is that adorable/embarrassing pony-butt tattoo, actually optional. In the My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic universe, lack of a cutie-mark indicates that the pony hasn't yet discovered (or acknowledged) their special skills or gifts, so it hasn't appeared yet.
