Fandom Advent!

We interrupt your scheduled teenage shenanigans for an announcement! Yep, December's back around the corner - it starts this Saturday, in case you've been living in the world of HOW CAN IT BE ALMOST THE END OF NOVEMBER like I have - and that means one thing: Fandom's Advent of Random Events is back!

It kicks off this Saturday, December 1st when a flurry of powdered snow descends upon the rooftops. Be careful when you leave your homes during the day, because that powdered sugar snowstorm is lethal! ...ly delicious.

Sunday, December 2nd the island will be invaded by weetiny bugs riding weetiny sheep. These dastardly BAH-HUMBUGS will be torturing your ears with their hummed covers of the Best of Christmas's Most Annoying Songs! ...and if that description makes you go 'that's Nick-level bad', it's because you have [livejournal.com profile] cataclysmicluck to blame for it. Seriously, Nick. That's just Nick-level bad.

Monday, December 3rd will see you all getting presents! Very tiny ones. In tiny boxes. Yes, get up from a chair? Small trinket! Open the wrong door? Small trinket! Order a too-big cup of coffee? There might be a small trinket in a box in it! (For example, small trinkets are, but are not limited to: toy instruments, tiny plush animals, Christmas ornaments, crayons...)

Questions? Comments? Leave 'em on this post! Please don't ask me why I sound like a car salesman this morning.

You love the bah-humbugs and you know it.

Do you also look like a car salesman this morning, and if not, why not?

Also, which is better, cake or pie?

That would require the Dutch to know the difference between cake and pie.
