First of all, let's hope you haven't run out of Welcome after yesterday's picnic, because we could use some for our new FH Sheriff's Department recruit, Tamsin (

fjordicswagger), of some canon I don't know anything about full of fairies and crap. Those who are aware of such things might notice an uncanny resemblance to Dinah Lance, but Tamsin is older and wears a shitload more eyeliner.

Second, in the category of Alumni You Don't Have To Say Goodbye To Yay, Hanna Marin (

new_it_girl) will be remaining on the island as a townie.

Third, in the category of Well-known Character, New Journal, Karla's shortly going to be celebrating her new Queenship by moving over to

glacial_queen, so you'll want to add that to your alumni friends list. (This is a new journal, not just a name-change, so LJ won't do it automatically for you.)

Finally, we'll be having our next Open Forum this Saturday, September 7. As usual, a friends-locked post will go up in this community in the morning (Eastern time) and will be open to all current players who want to make suggestions and raise issues they think should be discussed by the player base. The open forums are a place for people to bounce ideas around and get some discussion going. All we ask is that you be polite and considerate to each other. After that we'll round up all the issues that have been raised and get to work addressing them!
