Tomorrow, September 19th, is Talk Like A Pirate Day, and in honor of this solemn interdimensional holiday, the island will be blessing its residents (and far-flung ex-residents) threefold!

• Randomly appearing pirate headgear in the form of bandannas, sailor caps, or ridiculously befeathered tricorns!




• Painfully rum-slurred High Seas dialect!




• And finally to help you out with that last one, a flock of pirate parrots shall be descending on Fandom (off-islanders, you're out of luck there) to ride around on people's shoulders and correct their pronunciation all day. (Or helpfully translate their English to Pirate for them if they've been so unlucky as to be completely missed by the dialect disease.)
