Parents' Weekend Classifieds!

Rather than posting in your own journal and cluttering up the flist, this post is the place to ping in and search out someone to play a PW character for you or where you can advertise yourself as available and willing to play for other people!

Since I can't imagine there are many people who know Habitat (Or I would be begging for a Lewis for Sparkle), I don't suppose there's anyone who would be familiar enough with Wolverine & the X-Men canon to chuck a Logan or Angel or, heck, some of his classmates his way?

Or, barring that, an Uncanny X-Force Wade to be all awkward parent-like at him would make me love you pretty much forever into eternity. Kid needs some love.

How close or far off from other versions is Logan? I don't know W&tXM, but I do know X-Men of several varieties.

FYI, there is going to be a Logan apped. ~~Which is not a reason not to do it, but I wanted to put that out there. :D~~ I think? I have no idea if that's ever been done before.

We've had several Scotts and a few Warrens at a time before! Plus a gaggle of Final Fantasy doubles at one point, too. Getting them all together for a meal at one point was good fun.

Yay! The only one I could remember offhand was the Buffies because I played that but one was a student.

Oh, PW, the questions you make me ask.

There was even a family dinner of different Scotts. Oh, good times.

Pretty sure Nick played all the Scotts too.

Hee! I'd be perfectly willing to...okay, was gonna say "do him and drop him", but...yeah. Anyhoo. Only offering for the weekend.

(And while I'm thinking of it, if you're the one apping Logan (or you know who is), I've got an old, old journal for RP with a friend that I could clean out and donate, if they want the username short_and_surly. (Provided I can remember the password.))

... That username is the greatest ever. Everrrrr. Though I'm not him, and I don't know who is! (I'm thinking of bringing in one of Evan's classmates for the weekend, but that's about all I can handle to play for myself, and I'll probably pick up a couple for other people, here and there.)

He's the sort of Logan that's decided to be the headmaster of a school in the wake of a falling out over Scott's fondness for training up and using child soldiers!

So, the same soft spot he's shown with characters like Kitty and Jubilee, applied to running a school. I've got all of Evan's canon in digital format if there's someone up for Logan-ing for me who isn't familiar with it yet. :)

If anyone but me reads Shadow Unit, I'd love a Reyes.

I want to bring Miles Morales in for Jessica and while I figured I'd play him, I'm happy to let someone else step up if they're interested in giving him a shot. :)

For Bruce/Batman, I'd be thrilled to get a DCAU Tim Drake/Robin, if anyone else is familiar enough with that version.

I would love love love an X-men: First Class Charles. He's smarmy! And has hair! And not fully developed ethics regarding use of telepathy!

I would love anyone from Avengers Academy, especially Striker.

And I need New Girl characters for Jess! You know you want to!

It's been awhile since I've read Avengers Academy, but I could give the little jerk a try! My time on that weekend is really limited, though, because my boss is on vacation and I'm picking up extra hours. Is excruciatingly slow play okay?

I would love anybody from Switched at Birth -- Bay's moms, Bay's dads, a mom and a dad, Daphne or Toby, or some combination. It's hard for me to justify why Emmett would visit Bay, but if you can think of a reason, I'd love him to come too.

Basically, I want the entire damn cast :-).

Anybody from Mass Effect who would know Jack! Kahlee Sanders, Grunt, Garrus, Miranda ... you name it, I want it.

You know I'm always happy to play anyone Mass Effect. ;) Kahlee Sanders and/or Grunt especially.

I'd love a Nico to visit Gert, if anyone is up for it.

If anyone is familiar with either of my canons:

I would love a Nikita for Alex.

Or anyone from PLL for Hanna, especially Caleb or one of the other Liars. Or even Mona. That last one would be lots of fun.

It occurs to me that it might be nifty to have Alana Bloom show up to see what Hannibal's been up to lately.

And/or Old Woman Josie bringing Cecil a Night Vale care package.

Which canons are you familiar with?

I know Marvel like the back of my hand, but I should give warning that my time and character slots are limited.

I may be able to fake my way through some DC, Star Wars, Scott Pilgrim, and... Geez, looking at the character directory, that's about it. Boy am I out of touch with e culture at the moment.

Mmmm productivity.
