Better question, who doesn't hate it? Because that shit is foul. So I was all THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE this AM and went hunting through the last news post (lol, one about Heartbleed, since they so don't bother announcing site-wide shit to us any more) and FOUND THE FIX.

If you go to the Livejournal homepage and look at the top bar in the new UI, you should be able to click on the (blank?) space between "Post in blog" and the message icon. This should give you a menu that includes the option to revert.

THANK YOU. Ugh LJ why do you insist on being ugly? It's like LJ is going through a rebellious teen phase and I'm LJ's mom sitting here going, "You'd be so much prettier if you'd stop putting all that crap on. :("
