news has announced that the staff are reviving the lj_feedback community as a place to garner user feedback before rolling out changes. BRB, checking my pulse.

The first post over in lj_feedback, meanwhile, is asking for user opinions on the desire for and possible functioning of a Like/+1 system for posts and/or comments. (My personal feedback on it is there, fwiw.)

Seems like a good start for the new management. Fingers crossed that they make good on that "we want to listen to our userbase" thing.

... I like that all of their questions seem to sum up all the things I would be concerned about regarding implementation of a +1 feature. I'm going to have to throw in my two cents on the matter over in the comm when I get home from work.
