meme: reverse questions!

I basically just don't wanna today, and we apparently haven't done this meme since November of 2013. So what better time to fix that?

Also because I couldn't keep straight what was reverse questions and reverse questions with a twist while I was looking for memes and this might help.

Tag in with your characters and then people will comment asking the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR CHARACTERS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this character?", "How do you channel them?", etc).

AIODTW and oh my god I have to make it seven more hours and please help me.

All in one, and with a fair warning that I've got a lot to rant about from the last season of SaB.

What do you have to rant about from the last season of SaB?

I had to.

I worry about running out of room in the subject line.

All in one due to omfg first day of orientation week at new school. There's no telling whether my answers will make any sense.

Are there any other characters you've been considering, or are you planning on sticking with the two for a while?

What are your easiest/hardest characters to play right now?

Yeah, they might not want to answer, but I always will!

Is it hard playing a character like Cheryl, because of how totally over the top she is? I always wonder if you worry about not tipping over from hilariously horrible into offensive (which for the record I don't think you have, and I'm kind of in awe).

What drew you to apping Face?

Do you think you have a type when it comes to your characters?

OH MY GOD.

Okay, so part of the show's early set-up was that Daphne is the "good" daughter -- the one who's good at school, respectful to her elders, invested in sports, and whatnot -- and Bay is the "bad" one with the drinking and the boyfriends and the graffiti. The problem is that the writers seem to still think that's the case, even though Daphne has done about 653 illegal or morally questionable things and Bay ... ran away once? Likes to paint on buildings? (Like, Daphne plays two guys against each other, the show barely blinks and she never feels bad about it. Bay has a hard time ending things with a guy she dated for a while before getting back with her One True Love, Emmett, and OMG WORST THING EVER.)

So I've already had a chip on my shoulder about that. And this season, Bay's bio dad/Daphne's foster father, Angelo, died in a car crash caused by a brain aneurysm. Daphne blamed her foster mother for it because she and Angelo fought before he drove off, and basically spent the back half of the season acting out in really horrible ways. We're talking snorting coke, throwing furniture off a roof, sleeping with a gang member, vandalizing a construction site, stealing drugs from a clinic where she was doing community service (which she got because she already got charged with blackmail last season) ... really fun things like that.

it is worth pointing out that before this season, Daphne had shown exactly zero interest in getting to know Angelo, who walked out on her and her foster mom when she was three.

And meanwhile Bay is mourning, sure, but she's got other stuff going on. She's working things out with Emmett, she organizes an alternative prom when her school puts a homophobic dress code into place for the real one, she figures out what to do with herself when she doesn't get into her dream school. (She also finds out she has inherited Angelo's tendency to aneurysms, and handles it on her own because she doesn't want to worry her parents.) I'm not nominating Bay Kennish for sainthood or anything, but she was handed a lot of crap and did a really good job with it for an 18-year-old.

ANYHOW. So. Daphne gets arrested for the construction site vandalism because her prints are at the scene. The incident caused thousands of dollars worth of damage, and the local prosecutors want to make a point, so the best deal she can get would be to plead no contest in exchange for three months in jail and felony property destruction charge on her record. She also has to pay restitution, which her parents are taking care of because she's a spoiled brat. The sting for her is that she believes the felony won't let her go to med school. (I'm not so sure about that, plus she's only wanted to be a doctor for like six months so whatever, but for the sake of the show I'll go with that being both true and important to her.)

This could be a chance to let Daphne grow and change. To have her suck it up, take responsibility for her actions, and figure out how to rebuild her life once she's out of prison. It's three months -- even if she couldn't start college right on time, she'd be a normal college freshman by January of next year. Sounds like a decent plot development, right?

But we may never know because, in the VERY LAST SCENE, Bay decided to be a martyr and falsely confess to the vandalism, saying Daphne's prints were there because she was trying to stop Bay. And the ABSOLUTE WORST part of it is that Daphne takes about a nanosecond to go along with it -- it's not like Bay's life, future plans, or clean criminal record are worth anything, right? Daphne's a Kennish by blood, and therefore she must never suffer consequences for anything she does.

TL;DR - The show treated my girl badly and I am mad about it.

So what do you have planned next for Natalie?

Right now my type seems to be characters who curse and rant a lot. Or people who seem to have a problem with authority in general.

I don't know honestly. I have one character geared up for the end of the school year and I don't think he even fits in any of those categories. (Kid show!)

I guess it's hard for me to pinpoint a type. In the past I tend to pick characters on potential crack or by their gruffness. This time around I've been going with: Ooo. I like that character. I'm going to try and write that.

I'm also pretty scatter-brained at the moment so I might be missing the obvious here.
