I need someone to play Ichabod's father. There isn't much canon about him, but I've made up some things as I went along (and I hope I won't be jossed now that S2 is starting soon).

Could a parent come if they were mentioned in an aside, in the "my mother did such-and-such" way, but never appeared in canon? I forget every year what the rules are on OCs.

If the parents in question have been mentioned in any way in canon - and thus established as existing - they can come.
