PW Talent Show!

Hey folks! This Saturday, as part of Parents' Weekend, the Student Council will be hosting a talent show at the community center! If you'd like an idea of what this might be like, here is the recital we did a few years ago.

Now that you've basked in some nostalgia, we're looking for people who want to show off new talents and acts! Leave a comment here to sign up with the following info:

If you sign up by 11:59pm Eastern on Friday night, you'll have a spot in the OCD; there will also be an option to crash the talent show if that's more your thing, or if any parents or family members want to show off their stuff. Comments will be screened until the weekend for the surprise factor!

The plan WAS to have her sing a lovely and beautifully moving song that maybe 4 people in the audience would understand but her parents would approve of and she'd sound pretty. Then I found this video and I cannot NOT have her sing it. So, rather than singing an old and lovely song, she's going to get bitten by a gremlin and end up singing that, complete with boots and chair.

...I had to put this whole explanation here, because it's all I can do not to throw it at everyone and scream, "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT MY GIRL."

A short description of your act: What else? She's going to get out there and sing... something. I haven't entirely decided what just yet, but I'm leaning toward something fairly contemporary.
