In the Ultimate Universe, Bucky never "died" and instead just got super old at a normal rate. Also, he and Steve's girlfriend, Gale, totally started comfort banging each other after the war and then spent many decades happily married.

In general, I think of this as LESS GOOD than even the "just plain dead" Bucky of current-at-that-time 616 continuity, except for the fact that it led to Cap being totally cool that Bucky stole his lady 60 years ago, because that is one of early Ultimate Cap's few great moments here he wasn't wing a dick to someone.

Anyway, I should get back to work, so YAY BUCKY.
