meme: anonymous love!

It's a meme kind of day, and this one was requested, and since we haven't done it since August, why not? Valentine's Day can come early as we share the love. *nods*

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] likes_ducklings:

Rules are as follows:
1. Make a comment to this post with the name of your character. (If you play more than one character, you can make a comment for each of them.)
2. Go through and leave anonymous comments in other characters' threads saying nice things about them. (About the character or how they're played, or even something you like about the player; any of this is acceptable as long as they're nice things).
3. Read the comments your characters get and feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Anon commenting should be on (unless MP is a dirty liar) and definitely keep coming back during the day to see who else pinged in.

It would be so easy to just play Hannibal as Mr. Dramatic Irony (mmm, delicious dramatic irony. . . .) but you've managed to bring so many more layers than that to his character. All his threads are just so much fun to read.

What the last anon said about layers. There's something so compelling about the way you write Fandom's resident gentleman cannibal, how well you channel the character with all of his dangerous charm and refined passion as he appears in canon and adapt him to Fandom. I hope Hannibal sticks around for a long, long while.

And one of these days I'm going to end up actually cooking something from the recipes you keep digging up for him to use. Um. Probably without people.

I'm in awe of how you managed to bring Hannibal damn Lecter into the game, and have him actually work within the setting when so few villainous characters would. Gold star.

Also THANK YOU for the friending list work you did! It's amazing to not have to do it by hand anymore. Thank you thank you thank you.

I totally hear Hannibal's voice in my head saying the things you write. You play him so well!

Like everyone else, I'm astonished that Hannibal Lecter not only survives in Fandom, but flourishes here, making friends, helping people, and being a contributing member to society.

But I love it every time we see behind the mask, the way that on some level, Hannibal is viewing all of the residents as interestingly squirmy little insects, and wondering what they'd look like if he peeled off those shells.
