Random Events for this Spring-Forwardy Week!

Since Thursday is Saint Patrick's Day, the March Winds of Fandom will be blowing lucky shamrocks through the streets of town (and the halls of your building if you happen to leave a window open)! Of course by "lucky" what we actually mean is "coated with adhesive on one side and big enough to grab and affix over various portions of your anatomy if those cheeky March Winds should happen to succeed in their primary objective: blowing your clothes away."

On Friday, it's time for April Showers! To be more precise, the Fandom skies will open up and alternately rain pure, clear water, then lovely, bubbly, April Fresh laundry detergent (with fabric softener, of course; what are we, animals?) Free cleaning, if you managed to hold onto your clothing yesterday! Just try not to get it in your eyes.

Since March Winds and April Showers bring forth May Flowers, on Saturday, the green, green grass of Fandom Island will be dotted everywhere with the beautiful bright colors of fresh... living turkeys. Wearing pilgrim hats. Happy National Poultry Day.

Fandom loves her holiday celebrations. That doesn't mean she'll ever entirely understand them.

I hope the turkeys don't get violent. I'd hate for it to turn into a poultry slam. I guess you could also call it beat poultry.
