So... Now We're In Space

As you all may have noticed, as of yesterday afternoon, Fandom is located in space. Right now she's just kind of hanging out in Earth orbit, but following an epic fail at getting her to head back home, the island will be located in various regions of space (both planetside and out in spaaaaace proper where no one can hear you scream) for the rest of the summer, until settling back down in its old location near Lexington Park.

So What's Going To Happen?

Much like the Great Traveling Summers of 2008 and 2011, the island's safety protocols will slam on, and it will start dimension-bumping around the universe, looking for a temporary place to stay until Fandom is fully convinced that it's safe to head back to Earth because nothing's tried shooting at her baby again. This coming Tuesday, it will zoom over to its first anchoring location on Candyworld, Ltd, where it will be staying until the week after graduation. After that, the island will travel elsewhere every Friday evening and stay there for a full week. We'll make sure you all know the new destination by Thursday.

Can I Still Travel Off Island?

Yes! Portals still function, and so will the Causeway anytime Fandom docks on a planet or other object out in space; it will take you off island to that local area. To get back to Maryland, there's a stable portal set up in the parking lot by the Causeway on Fandom, and there's also one in the parking lot (ETA: there is no second parking lot, apologies) by where the Causeway usually is back on Earth, so no one's getting stuck down below.

So, Candyworld...?

To kick things off, we're keeping it simple, light and moddable for you on our first planet - Candyworld. It is exactly what it says on the tin, and isn't taken from any canon - though you're free to think of it as Sugar Rush with the numbers filed off. It's a world where everything is edible and made of candy! (Except for the people. Don't eat the people. You know who we're looking at.)

Waterfalls of chocolate descend from mountains of marshmallow, down into a tundra of licorice. Enjoy yourself.

Okay, thank you - this clears up a lot!

I'm still slightly confused, though - so, if someone crosses the causeway as usual, they'll end up in Candyworld or whichever World of the Week, and if they go through the portal in the parking lot(s), they'll end up in the usual Baltimore?

Also, where does this mean cars and assorted other parked things are - on the island side, or on the Baltimore side?
