Our Next Stop!
Hello, everyone!
Tomorrow's destination? The lovely Rirhath B! Rirhath B is the sixth planet of eight in the Rirhath system, and planet of origin for the Rirhait species (think human-sized, metallic centipedes with multiple eye-stalks. But don't worry! They're friendly!). Rirhath is sparsely populated; in fact, at any given moment its transient population far outweighs the native one. This is because Rirhath is also home to the Crossings Intercontinual Worldgating Facility. With six hundred fixed worldgates and four hundred programmable ones, the Crossings is basically Portalocity but with a better track record at getting you both where and when you want to be. Fandom will be settling in right next door to the Facility, which is fortunate because while the sun doesn't scream at you, and there's just the one, it's still not... good for you? So the Facility's got you covered- literally- with something called an "elective ceiling" which will protect you from those nasty rays but not block your night-time view of the stars. And trust me, the view is worth it.
So whether your characters would like to spend their time jetting off to worlds previously unknown, or simply enjoying some of the many (many, many) shops and restaurants found at the Crossings, enjoy your stay!
