This semester, I'm applying character tags in townies and dorms at first appearance of a new character in that community, as we ran out of tag space and I'm trying to economize. Oops.

Having a technical difficulty with the Earth tag- Lj simply won't let me. It shows up in my tag selection box when I go to post, but then it chucks an error message, and doesn't exist in the edit tags menu at all.

Can we lay claim to Discovery, instead? It's another existing tag, and it fits as good as earth did anyway.

It's probably got something to do with the way tagging and admin positions work - I was actually planning to do a round to apply tags in a few moments.

Sorry about that - because we started getting weird 'you're full up on tags' remarks from LJ in some of the other comms, I decided to hold off until the end of the first week and then apply tags to everything and everyone new that's actually been posted. I should've been clearer that extended to fandomhigh as well.
