Because I need to make plans for my future and I'm procrastinating, and things have probably happened since we last did this one. So, here is a meme:

What's your name? Leto Atreides II

How are you feeling right now? Mostly good, unless I dwell too much on the future. There is little point in doing that and I should enjoy the happiness I have now. Karla recently showed up for a surprise visit, and I always appreciate her company. We are really good at being bratty together.

What's going on for you at the present time? Politics of course. The plans for that are clear, and for that reason it can be quite boring, like a particularly slow game. I prefer to concentrate on family and friends, as I will lose them, and quite soon compared to the lifespan I will have to endure. So, Hania is growing up so quickly. Should I be surprised that she has inherited the stubbornness of her parents? It makes me happy that she and Sparkle get along so well. And I had expected things with Sparkle would turn a lot more complicated than they have. I'm still not entirely sure that letting myself enjoy the unexpected falling in love with him is the best thing for him, as I think he would benefit more from someone who can put him first, but then it seems that choice is no longer an option. I am lucky that Alice has very little inclination towards jealousy and that our love is not affected by this. And as always, there is Ghanima. There is very little about my feelings for her that need to be put into words.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Mostly relationships and friendships, unless there's a BDE that would make sense to have him take part in. Having him meet his father was a good thing to explore. I sometimes think I should come up with a political plot, but I'm not very good at that, and Leto is a little too powerful for it to be really interesting, so I probably won't. I'm mostly enjoying having him talk to people.

What's coming up for you? Nothing really, see the previous question.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Sparkle, Karla, Ghanima, reconnecting with old friends. I'm also happy for him to just chat with anybody, just for fun

What's your name? Lucille Sharpe

How are you feeling right now? Lonely, although I wouldn't admit it.

What's going on for you at the present time? I'm staying at Allerdale Hall all alone. My brother has not yet been able to come here. I plan to return to Fandom for the next term, to earn some money to have repairs made. Hopefully my previous employer wants me back.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? My plan is to have her return to her canon path. I haven't yet figured out how I can make her Fandom experiences help with that. Although hopefully Hannibal can offer advice how to not get caught for murdering people.

What's coming up for you? Possibly visits, and then returning to Fandom for the next summer term. After that I don't know. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to keep her, not because I don't like playing her, but because I'm not sure playing canon without much Fandom connection would be interesting enough.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Friends are welcome to visit! When she returns she would like to talk to her friends, and possibly make new enemies. She needs new enemies!

How are you feeling right now? Stuck. Stuck on Earth. There's still a lot to learn and it's hard not to feel out of my element.

What's going on for you at the present time? Well, I'm kinda a big deal on Homeworld now, what with calling Yellow Diamond a clod to her face and all that, but nobody here even realizes that I saved the Earth. Though I suppose around this place I'd have to get in line.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Peridot's got a nice little canon bit coming up where she discovers that she does, in fact, have powers. I'm just trying to figure out how to bring that one about. I could send her home for it, but it's such a little thing that it could just as easily happen on the island if the right person has quite the wrong conversation with her.

What's coming up for you? Stuck on Earth forever. So, probably more of that.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Tip, Lucille, Rufus, Dante, Ada, Peebee, Summer... Anyone she's had a good conversation with, anyone she's had a bad conversation with, or anybody who wants to boggle at just how terribly a little green alien really is at adjusting to life on Earth.

What's your name? Jonothon Evan Starsmore

How are you feeling right now? The usual anxiousness applies, really. Though today there's a bit of an impending sense of dread to go along with it, for reasons I can't quite put my finger on. I suppose it'll pass.

What's going on for you at the present time? Not a hell of a lot, really. I'm not teaching here or in Westchester at the moment, Groovy Tunes is doing well enough, and the Boards are quiet. Hannibal's got a pet project on the go with me to keep me feeling functional, and I'm attempting to navigate my way through that with enough challenge to keep me engaged and as little murder as possible.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? You know, not really? I mean, I know what's up with Jono by this point, and I'm just having fun playing with him. It's nice to see him meeting people and talking to them outside his capacity as a teacher for a change of pace, but he might get back into the teaching thing come next summer workshop or the fall, we'll see.

What's coming up for you? Nothing, really. I'm still trying to figure out how to work in a bunch of canon that, by the end of it gets entirely undone so nobody remembers anyway, but it seems kind of redundant to do a long comic arc that in the end doesn't actually contribute to the character.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Everyone. Eeeveryone. Jono needs to get out and pester all the folks. Are there any musicians he hasn't jammed with? How about any hero types who are looking for a spar? Fellow freaks? Telepaths? Bring 'em on.

How are you feeling right now? Actually pretty okay. Cautiously okay. We'll see how long that's allowed to last, right?

What's going on for you at the present time? Well, I have family that doesn't want to be family, a teaching job I never figured anybody would be stupid enough to give me, a father figure who eats people and an emperor for a boyfriend. Life's full of stuff.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Really, just watching Sparkle growing up, actually stopping to examine his missteps and then turn around and make more stupid mistakes on the way is great for me! It's a process.

What's coming up for you? Nothing in the pipeline for this guy. He's just doin' his thing for a bit.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Oh god, everybody. People who can tell him he's stupid, people who can encourage him to do better, people who can learn from the dumb crap he's done. I mean, the usual suspects, too, but really, everybody.

What's your name? Zack Fair

How are you feeling right now? Okay, I guess? I mean, there's a lot of emotional baggage that I never really want to dig into far enough to really unpack it, and I'm worried about home and I'm worried about here and I'm going to keep grinning anyway because I don't really want to talk about it.

What's going on for you at the present time? Nothing. Like. I mean, nothing. Things are messy between me and Ino, what with her still working with the people who... who did some not super great stuff... But I know my parents and Cloud are safe. But then again, we saw some pretty horrible stuff the last time we were on the island, a lot of could-bes about home, and I can't be there, and I don't really know anybody around here and I should do something to fix that, so much has changed around here, and I guess I own an animal shelter, which is a nice enough distraction and I'd be willing to bet my last gil that it was Tseng's idea, which is messy all on its own, and... you know. Nothing.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I really want to dig in deep and dirty and poke around at what happens in the head of a hell-bent hero after he's been broken and dragged away from all that heroing he was supposed to do. Killaurey and I cheerfully broke the hell out of his canon going forward, so poking at all the little ways that Zack and Cloud BOTH being gone is going to wreak havoc, all while Zack can't step in and get involved, could be something to nudge at here and there. There's also that whole 'slow road to recovery' thing. Zack's more than a little busted, even if he's determined to not let it show.

What's coming up for you? Noooobody knoooooows. The next step in his canon is 'Zack gets dead,' but that isn't happening, so we're kinda winging it at this point.

What's your name? Captain Nathan Algren

How are you feeling right now? Surprisingly serene. Nothing's gone too wrong lately. Of course, around here, we'll see how long that's allowed to continue.

What's going on for you at the present time? The usual. Living, teaching, working, and trying to find a way home. At the very least, sending letters to Taka and the boys so that they know I'm alive and well and doing everything in my power to return to them. Not certain those letters are even making it there, though.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? More 'living life in the modern day' stuff, I suppose. He did a lot of his healing and growing in his last go-round on the island, so mostly he's just really zen to play.

What's coming up for you? Nothing, really! This guy's slate is wide open.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? More threads with Magnus, Goody, Anne, Steve, Peter... Heck, I'd like to have him get out and meet more adults in particular and more people in general. Come play with cranky hairy Tom Cruise.

How are you feeling right now? Comfortable. Which is... weird. I try not to get too comfortable. Comfortable is usually a sign that I need to move on soon.

What's going on for you at the present time? I might have joined a fledgling rebellion. I might have joined two fledgling rebellions. I don't know how the hell I managed that, though at least to Hera's face I'll maintain it's because I think she's pretty.

It... isn't entirely because I think she's pretty.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? This guy's got six years of wide-open empty canon to fill before he gets to his Rebels stuff, and all we know is that somewhere in there he goes from being 'crew' to 'pretty much Hera's equal,' he and Hera pick up a couple of stray rebels along the way, and he actually sort of grows up the tiniest bit if you squint. NO CLUE HOW THAT HAPPENS, but with six years, I'm confident we can fudge our way there.

What's coming up for you? More coming to terms with being a secret Jedi and a rebel, maybe more teaching, maybe not. Almost certainly more pancakes.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Any other wayward GFFA folks around the island. Any other folks from space who aren't from the GFFA. Always more room for threads with Hera, Summer, Eliot, Parker, Steve and so on, but Kanan is just really easy to play off of anyone and I'd love threads with the most unlikely suspects just to see what happens, honestly.

How are you feeling right now? Confused, a lot of the time.

What's going on for you at the present time? Trying to adjust. Trying to figure this place out. Trying to write about trying to figure this place out. ... Sort of enjoying living in a room that's meant to be lived in.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I just want to figure out what makes him tick. Also, like with all my characters, I want to poke at his issues. Because I'm mean, and because it's interesting.

What's coming up for you? CANON. It kicks off around the 4th of July and will then move along over the fall term, probably.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? PEOPLE, in particular other outcast and loner types. And junior sleuths. And people who'll make him laugh because that's not super easy. But really, anyone, because I'm still getting started with him.

What's your name? Summer Smith

How are you feeling right now? Pretty....good? A little bit at a crossroads. I feel like I've reached a point where I've gotten as far as I could go, and I won't be able to move forward until ~~new canon~~ something big happens. It's making me a little anxious, but I'm really trying to just enjoy my time here while I can, because things could get really messed up really quickly at any moment.

What's going on for you at the present time? Doing what I can to cobble together a plan to break my Grampa Rick out of jail. I've got a really good base, some good ideas, some incredible support, but there's only so much I can do. I need to start thinking about how the hell I can get through Portalicity back to my universe without alerting a tone of Federation agents, how to get across Federation space, and how to get into a high-security space prison. You know. Just little details! Meanwhile, this place is pretty cool and I like it, and the urge to just...enjoy it is pretty strong, but I'm pretty sure that's what the Federation wants me to feel, so I just have to fight it.

I might let myself enjoy it just a little bit, though. At least until I hit that ~~new season~~ big breakthrough.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? At the moment, I'm in a bit of a limbo until the new season comes out, so I'm enjoying Summer relaxing a little more. I honestly did not expect her to get to her current state so quickly, so I'm twiddling my thumbs a little and hopefully building some stronger relationships with the other characters in the meantime.

What's coming up for you? I HAVE NO IDEA, because I'm still waiting for my new damn canon! Rumors suggested it should start this month, but there's a whole April Fools day conspiracy involved in that. The one episode of the new season we've been given might not even be canon at all, and I won't know until the rest of the episodes arrive, and no one knows when that will be, because it was on April 1st that they said more would come in June. Was it real? Was it a joke? WHO KNOWS. It's a mystery. I might be completely jossing myself right now, but you know what? It's all cool, because that's one benefit of having a canon that relies heavily, dizzingly on different universes: with infinite universes, everything is canon. This Summer might just end up being a slightly different Summer than the one in the show, and it's completely legit. MWA HA HA.

But, seriously, Adult Swim, give me more episodes.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with?
UMM, everyone? I really love all the connections she's made so far, though there are plenty that I'd like to see explored more. I've gotten the opportunity to explore so many different aspects of her, and I LOVE IT. I'm going through some schedule shifts right now which makes it hard for me to know when I'll be around, which can sometimes make it tricky to ping back in a timely fashion, but I'm definitely make the effort. In my head, Summer's building up her dream coalition of people to help her break her grampa out of space jail, and more suitable candidates for that are always welcome (although, if the new seasons doesn't take a sharp left turn and reveal that Episode 1 of Season 3 was also a big April Fools' joke, the coalition will be entirely unneeded, lol).

How are you feeling right now?
I'm making monnaaaaay, so I'm happy! Mr. Fancycakes is digging the new digs, too, so that's a little weight off my tiny little shoulders, too. I'm not traveling like I used to, but, you know, home is where the cashflow is, so I don't mind being a little homebody as long as this place continues to be such a good return on my investment.

What's going on for you at the present time? Besides making money? Making more money. That's about it. What else would there be?

How are you feeling right now? Not a whole lot. I'm happy just coasting along, not thinking about what graduation means for my social life and the people I've come to care too much for. How are you feeling right now? ahahahahahaha Complicated. Confused. Things SEEM to be going okay, but I don't exactly trust how things seem to be. I still feel oddly distant from everyone, even the people I'm closest to. I've got a bag packed in my closet in case I need to cut and run and I don't think that's ever going to go away. I don't know where I stand with a lot of people, I can't trust myself, I demand too much too quickly, I'm still grieving everyone and everything I've lost, I'm spinning in circles, I don't know what I want to do next or how to even start figuring that out, and I take stupid risks for the adrenaline hit...

In short, I'm a mess. I have periods of being a little more together than normal, but mostly I'm a mess. I'm just (slightly) better at hiding it than I was.

What's going on for you at the present time? I'm doing things a bit more, not just hiding in my house. That's good. Mostly I'm holding my breath as I do everything because I keep waiting to screw it all up and watching it come crashing down on me. That's fine, right?

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Kathy's first arc was going from nothing to everything--having her go from shy and meek and kinda boring to bright and outrageous and coloful, with friends and a perfect future all planned out. Now I'm playing through her fall from grace; she had everything and has come back with nothing. She's realizing how much of her life had been planned out and now that those plans are broken, she has no idea what to do or where to go. She'd honestly had the belief that so long as she did Everything Right, Everything Would Be Fine and that belief has been shattered. It's fun playing with this negative trajectory, and eventually she'll move back to rebuilding herself and her life, but this time on a more solid foundation and that'll be fun, too.

But unlike before, where every major plotpoint was carefully scheduled and timed, I'm flying without a net and it's exhilarating and scary at the same time. Kathy and I have this in common.

What's coming up for you? Just more of Kathy figuring out how to heal and how to be a person again. Oh and her next bit of canon, once I figure out when to set it and how to integrate her into it. So, yeah. Kathy will be heading back to ex-LA again. WHEEEE!

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Oh everyone and anyone! She hasn't hung with Eliot or Parker lately, that needs to be fixed. New people. Old people. Maybe some kind of "I went off to war and died and came back fucked up" support group, idk.

How are you feeling right now? Good. Slightly bored, though nothing like Jono's antsiness.

What's going on for you at the present time? I'm teaching, trying to engage Jono's interest in our project, cooking with Sparkle again. Writing some music.

How are you feeling right now? I'm a bit more even than I was when I got here.
Less jumpy, which is good. Making some progress on my magic.

What's going on for you at the present time? Bribing flowers. I don't even know.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Like Hya, Hardison is my happy, chill guy. He's post-canon, so he's just cruising along with his loved ones.

How are you feeling right now? Fine. Still a little thrown about the Kathy thing, because honestly I don't know what I want and everything feels a little like it used to but also a lot not like it? And I don't know if it's me or her or-- ugh, I HATE OVERTHINKING SHIT.

Maybe I'm alo a little more thrown because I don't feel as much like fucking around as I used to, even if I got permission to chase Peebs or whoever else I want to bang. And when did that happen? And why is it happening while Anders is getting back in with his formerly dead girlfriend?

And why is part of me worried I'm only breaking my brain over this shit I don't want to deal with to begin with because there's a bigger thing I don't want to deal with because--

What's going on for you at the present time? 'm good. Fine. Getting laid. Nothing's blowing up. No demons have been trying to kill me for ages. I went through the whole rush thing of being free and now I'm just... keeping on being me, I guess.

Still not being great at long-term planning. So... mostly coasting from party to party, as per usual.
Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'm taking things as they come for a while, until I start digging back into classic DMC canon come fall. I don't know where things are going! He might go monogamous, he might not! He might work things out with Kathy soon, he might not!

He will, however, be confronted with the Vergil thing on multiple occasions until canon finally really blows it up in his face again. And, y'know, it's good; he's canonically depressed between DMC 1 and DMC 4 and I can tell now how he gets there.
What's coming up for you? A canon catchup to the manga at the start of fall, a canon catchup of DMC 3 when we hit spring... Dante growing more remote, probably, as he continues to hide some of the bigger things he's screwed up about... it'll be fun.
Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? Anders, always. Ditto Kathy and Ada and Isabela et al. But also Peridot and Peebee and all of the newbies, and older figures like Sparkle he hasn't talked to in a while...

How are you feeling right now? Vaguely confused and irritated. So . . . normal for this island.

What's going on for you at the present time? Things are alright. Still dealing with losing my dad, but hell, I gained a daughter while I was at it, and my sister and I are tighter than ever, so that's good. Enjoying the break from the great exercise in frustration that is trying to teach at Fandom High.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Let's see, we've tackled his commitment issues and his daddy issues. . . . I'd still like to do more with his fucked up history, but that is pretty much an "always and forever" kind of goal with Eliot.

What's coming up for you? Nothing really big on the horizon planned for him just now. He's pretty well settled, and grief aside, is pretty damned pleased with his current lot in life.

Which of course means that I'll have to destroy him a little, soon. ;D

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? ANYONE ELSE WANNA GET ADOPTED BY A WEIRD GRUMPY EX-ASSASSIN? Eliot "everything's a teaching moment" Spencer does love picking up strays.

How are you feeling right now? Kinda bored. I should probably start signing up for more academic type classes.

What's going on for you at the present time? School. Still surprising myself when I look in the mirror and see no hair. Might see about doing a mini-road trip with J.Lo again over the break in classes.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? Oh man, most things. Tip is still only about 15 (I should probably pin down her birthday, huh), and as such has not really developed into her full self just yet. I'd love to work out who she is romantically as well as socially — she's from a kid's book, so her canon doesn't even start to touch on that. It's all free reign, baby.

What's going on for you at the present time? I'm dealing, I guess. I've got work, which I sometimes even manage to go to, and the workshop, which I'm actually doing really well at actually going to, and I haven't felt the need to sleep in the closet for like a month. I didn't even need to remind myself not to kill that guy I kidnapped for class today. So that's good. Right?

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? I'd love to throw her into another kill-or-be-killed situation. Or possibly something that's not quite kill-or-be-killed but which she would react in a kill-or-be-killed kind of way to. I'm not sure yet how she'd react to it. But that's the fun part!

What's coming up for you? No concrete plans (I mean, this is me, I don't DO concrete plans). She's probably going to drift for a bit longer before she starts figuring things out for herself again.

Who would you like to meet and/or talk with? It'd be cool to get her threading with Dante again, though neither is really much of a talker (especially about the things they actually have in common). And Ringo and Raven's "what's a little murder between friends?" convo was amazing, so anything like that again would be fun. Mostly, just anyone who wouldn't mind dealing with a depressed and confused shapeshifter.

What's going on for you at the present time? Nothing has attempted to kill me for several days now, and things back at the Library have been almost suspiciously quiet. I've had nothing but time to work on my experiments.

I almost don't know what to actually do with myself.

Anything you'd like to explore with this character? At some point his secret identity totally has to come to light. Somehow. Don't ask me how, unless someone starts jonesing for a Holy Grail. . . .

What's coming up for you? More spending money on magical artifacts to add to his collection/experiments, more questionable sales policies at his shop in order to either drive away customers or gain test subjects (he's not super partial either way). He may teach a class in the fall.

How are you feeling right now? Good. Almost like a real actual grown up!

What's going on for you at the present time? Classes are going well. I'm narrowing in on my degree, which is weird. Dinah and I are tight as usual, and no one's shot me full of arrows in a good several months!
