Meme: Future Possibilities!

Hey, Fandom. I have had enough of a Week that I can't even think of a proper descriptor for it besides A Week. So I want fluff. Or at least, something to read and/or write that will make me smile. Enter the long-lost Future Possibilities meme!

Tag in with your character, then people will ping you with their prompt. The prompt consists of
1) a time/place (ex. Fire Nation, Middle Ages, Medieval England, etc)
2) a cast: FH or canon character(s), as many as you'd like but think of the other person's brain
3) an additional random prompt (ex. end of the world, icebergs, football, etc)

Using these prompts, it's then up to you to think of a possible future for your character involving the three criteria given to you. It can be cracky, sad, happy, dorky, looby, romantic, angsty, etcetcetc. Just let your imagination flow.

Atton's fist slammed into Anakin's face so hard, he swore he could hear Skywalker's skull ringing and cracking underneath his knuckles. He was probably imagining it, but he'd let that pass just this once - it felt too satisfying.

Skywalker staggered back a few steps before he righted himself. "I deserved that one," he said, a flicker of guilt in his eyes. "You get one more," he added.

"I get one more." Skywalker'd meant that as a good thing. A, I-know-what-I-did-wrong type thing. A you-do-this-and-maybe-you'll-then-forgive-me thing.

Atton's next punch landed straight in the kidney, the absolutely most painful place he knew how to hit.

Especially if you had something sharp tucked between your knuckles.

Skywalker's eyes went wide as he staggered back, clutching his injured side. "Atton--"

Yeah. Atton was pretty sure he wasn't getting anymore free cheap shots. He didn't care. "I used to do this for a living," he said flatly. "You helped me out, and Her Royal Jediness would hate me from the depths of Force heaven, if it even exists, if I kill you right now."

A flicker in Skywalker's gaze. "You couldn't--"

"Shut up," Atton said. He ran a hand through his hair. "Just don't speak to me."

It wasn't even so much the murder of his home planet that shook him. Alderaan was the past, a place he'd never been able to settle, and Alderaan thousands of years later was basically an alien place.

It was the lying.

"You Jedi," he said. "Even when you're bowing and scraping for forgiveness for taking a walk on the Dark Side, you're still happy to peddle your sanctimonious poodoo while you tiptoe around your own mess like you're not responsible for it."

"That's--"

"I said don't talk to me," Atton said, ignoring the darkening frown on Skywalker's face. "I'm gone."

With a quick swivel on his feet, he made good on his word.

There was a stack of... green leafy things on Atton's plate. No meat, though. There wasn't even any salt.

There was also a green leafy thing on Atton's fork.

"No, no, hold on," Sparkle proclaimed. "I need to--" He fumbled around. "I need to take a picture of this."

Why was the little bastard here? At dinner? Watching him eat? He should've known to kick the kid to the curb the second he'd started rambling about 'documenting a historic occasion'. Maybe even before that, when they'd had the Very Serious Conversation about words like 'blood sugar' and 'carbs'. Who'd decided it was a good idea to let Sparkle take that diet class, anyway?

It had to have been Leto. Stupid sand king loved laughing at his pain.

"I'm a Jedi," Atton grumbled, shoving the first stack of spinach into his mouth. "I can heal my wounds just fine. Why can't I heal a kidney? Or a spleen? That just doesn't make sense--"

Oh, right. Chewing. That was a thing.

He reached out in the Force while he was chewing and dragged the phone out of Sparkle's hands.

"Hey! No Force powers in the house!"

"I can do whatever I want as long as you're trying to humiliate me! With rabbit food!"

Atton gave into temptation and Force-flung half the spinach at Sparkle's face. Somehow it did not stop Sparkle's cackling. At all.

"Too late, you already swallowed some, old man. It's not my fault your body's betraying you."

"No," Atton grumbled, shoving another load of spinach into his mouth. "But I can make you pay for it."
