I'm probably in for a bad day, so I'm being proactive and giving myself a distraction in the form of a meme, please blow up my phone. Also it looks like we haven't done this one since April of last year, so it's time.

Tag your character in. Other characters will then comment asking them embarrassingly personal questions, but there's a catch. In exchange for your answer, they have to answer whatever embarrassingly personal question you ask them in return, and it all has to be truthful. Nothing counts IG, per usual.

I don’t know. We’ve never fit easily into one category, but I would have liked to have seen if we could have been something more and what that would have looked like. Now I’d settle for knowing that we’re friends.

Five years? Shit, I guess 'not in prison' would be good enough for me. But I'd like to be able to patch things up with my sister, too, since I kind of scared her off when I dropped in unannounced like a moron. Running the clothing store is fun, but I don't know if I'd want to do that forever. Honestly, I kind of want to make a place for myself somewhere out there in the multiverse. The island is the only home I have right now, but it was only ever meant to be a stopgap while I got my shit together again.

Kanan: I have no objection to spreading civilization. Go out there, settle any unpopulated forest planet or chunk of rock with valuable minerals you want. It's spreading your own personal idea of civilization at the expense of others that I oppose. Believe it or not, every group of people out there thinks of what they have as civilization. You don't have any right to redefine that for them. All you have is the firepower to force it.

Do you really, legitimately not comprehend that people that don't even know what the Radch is owe you any more consideration than you've given to them?

Sparkle: .... Honestly, because like some kind of moron, I keep kind of clinging to the hope that I can teach you. I'm kind of starting to wonder if you want to learn, though.

Peridot: I... I don't know. I might encourage Gems to do what they want to do with their lives, instead of simply what they were made to do. But I recognize maybe more than anybody that changing from a Gem under the current Diamond regime to a free person isn't as easy as it appears. It would have to be a process.

... If YOU were in control of Homeworld, what would you do?

Kanan: Hell, I'd settle down and live a quiet life for a change. Nothing against the Jedi, but that isn't a life I'm certain I can live. Especially not now that I have feelings for Hera.

Is there anything you hope I do?

Jono: Myself. Always myself. Sometimes the most frightening thing about me is how much I've taken to you?

And you? Any fears?

Sparkle: I... don't think so. That time's come and gone. Unless something were to just utterly crush me, I've made that choice now, and I might even be strong enough to hold to my own convictions, for a change.

Two things, I think. I want to make a difference, though the difference I want to make is somewhere on a scale far smaller than the trajectory it looks like I've been set on. And I think I want to find myself, again. There was a time when I knew who I was, when I knew my place in the galaxy. That time is long gone now. I miss it.

If I were to tell you that I have my suspicions about your actual potential, how would you react?

Peridot: Unfortunately, I don't know enough about Homeworld to say. I suppose I would take quite a while in simply assessing what it is and how it works. I would, however, insist it not attack Earth further. I am rather fond of the place.

Kanan: Not particularly. I'm merely curious what would happen when the fear and behavior that have driven you your entire adult life are no longer there. I might hope for an invitation, though; I do enjoy experiencing new places.

Jono: Fears? No. There are things that I am wary of and would prefer not to happen - such as the general populace here discovering my hobbies - but I take reasonable precautions to prevent that from happening, and then I live my life. I very strongly do not want you to reject me (and by extension your own nature), but I don't see that happening, and if it did, I should feel obliged to attempt to kill you, and you would undoubtedly kill me (either physically or mentally), so there's little point in worrying about it.

Sparkle: I would want for you to find your confidence and let go of your fears. For myself, I would like to see more of you, but I have no doubt that would be a byproduct of a lack of fear. I simply want you to pursue what it is that you want.
