The day after a holiday always sucks and I don't want to move from in front of my fan till I have to get into my air conditioned car, so let's meme. We haven't done this one since September.

Oh my god, we definitely need to hang out sometime and just like drink and mock people on reality TV. You're fun.

Kitty: Okay, once upon a time, it used to be that when I made a friend I felt this comfortable with, that was a sure sign it was time to pack up, leave, and never look back again. So it's really messing with my head that I look forward to just hanging out with you and shooting the shit instead. That's not a complaint, but it says a whole hell of a lot anyway.

Rey: You have potential. You have so much potential. And I won't continue shoving that fact down your throat, but there are times when it hurts me not to, when you immediately start saying that you're nothing special, that you're even less than that. I hope you live up to what I know you can be, someday.

Sabine: Still not completely certain what to make of you, but at the end of the day, I think I'm happy I made you my TA. I'm definitely happy we had that talk last week.

You're still one of the only organic beings I've known who actually makes even the slightest measure of sense.

You're bitchy about fashion and encourage my day drinking, WHY WERE WE NOT FRIENDS ALREADY?

I worry about you in a lot of ways, but I also have no doubt you're going to get it all together and keep it that way. And I'm glad I have you to talk to, and vice versa.

Norman: You're a cute kid, and you've actually been really helpful. If I'm stuck here, I'm glad I have you around.

Kanan: It says a lot about you that I freaked you out and you told me why anyway. I also appreciate that in ways I'm probably never going to actually say. You're okay.

Interacting with you makes me genuinely feel better about myself, because I see you desperately embracing every poisonous, harmful thing I'm finally learning to move away from, myself.

Added bonus, I never tried to drag anyone else down with me.

It's weird... like, if we spent more time together, I feel like I could probably come to look up to you as a big sister the same way I look up to Atton as a big brother.

It kind of freaks me out. But, like, not in a bad way.

You're the first person maybe ever to think I could be something and lets me ask questions even past the point where I'm being annoying. You're also the first person I've ever looked up to.

Half the reason I'm trying to bribe the squirrels is because I hate the way you talk about me and what I do on radio so I've got a feeling I'm not going to be a fan.

I tried to post this on my phone, but it kept autocorrecting Astrid's name to "Astride Magnus Sen."

I kind of almost wonder why the school even bothered giving you a sibling, because you just seem so... so competent and willing to let all of this stuff roll off your shoulders, you probably don't actually need one, you know?

But I'm glad it did, too, because you're pretty cool.

I still have no plans on wearing a dress to a dance, basically ever. But knowing where you're coming from and why you tried convincing me to, I think it's kind of sweet anyway. I'm glad you cared enough to try.

Amaya: It's really refreshing to have someone else to talk swords with who gets just as excited about them as I do. Looking forward to you getting that forge finished up.

I might've made up an excuse to move out if I'd gotten anyone but you as a roommate. I actually want to get to know you better.

There's also something about you that kind of makes me want to wrap you up in a blanket and protect you.

I can't get over how cool you are. Third time's a charm with roommates, I guess, because I can't see myself wanting to ever try to stab you (and not just because that would be an extremely stupid idea) and you actually don't seem to mind including me in things which is just...sometimes hard for me to wrap my head around. You seem cool with sharing not only your supplies, but also our visions, which is nice because our styles are very different, and yours could so easily overtake mine, but it doesn't. It's...nice.

And it's selfish, but I hope I get kicked out before you figure a way to get out, because I'm positive whatever roommate I would get after you won't be nearly as cool and kind.

Life feels less normal when you're around, and that's not a complaint.
