Adults-to-Teens!

Since there had been interest expressed in bringing back this particular event, we are pleased to announce that yet again Fandom will be turning our adult characters into teenagers for a short period of time, specifically Wednesday June 6th to Saturday June 9th. Yes, that means it'll be just in time for next week's summer camp shenanigans.

The rules are similar to Weetiny Weekend: participation is voluntary, but if your character wakes up as a teenager, they stay a teenager for the duration. Yes, that means some workshops may possibly now have teenage teachers where before they had Totally Mature And Responsible Adults. GOOD TIMES. Also the upper age limit for this event is 18 (or their species' equivalent thereof).

So go forth and find any necessary icons in preparation for upping the Teenage Drama quotient on-island by a significant degree!

Dumb newbie question: Does my character retain current memories and skills, but revert to a teenage physique?

For what it's worth, the last time we did this particular event, I'm pretty sure most people who chose to change converted back completely, mind and body, though it isn't entirely unheard of for people who get younger in these events (typically the ones where everybody becomes little kids) to at least retain enough to not feel super out of place on the island, too. :)

Not at all a dumb question! These are the standard operating rules for this event/weetiny weekend (a similar event that happens to the whole island, where people can choose to be transformed into small-child versions of their characters):

* Your character thinks they're supposed to be a teen (or child, depending on the event) and don't remember ever having been an adult

* They think they're supposed to be on Fandom Island

* They can recognize things and people from their adult life, or not

* If yes, their memories will be of having met those people/things as a teen/child, or the spell will conveniently distract them from thinking about that issue at all
