13 Days of Halloween!
We're officially well into spooky season, and this year our fair Fandom island is joining in on the fun with a string of thirteen random event days finishing off on All Hallow's Eve.
The first batch is as follows:
Saturday, October 19th: Candy corn rain! Fandom is welcoming back its Galapagos-traveling denizens with light sprinklings (and the occasional torrent) of candy corn.
Sunday, October 20th: Jump scare day! Random loud noises (with or without a good explanation), people suddenly walking into rooms when you thought you were all alone in the house... Prepare to get startled, often.
Monday, October 21st: Fake blood café! As soon as it's brewed, all the coffee on the island turns into fake blood. It tastes mostly like corn syrup - unless there's pumpkin spice in it, in which case it tastes like corn syrup and regret.
Tuesday, October 22nd: Spooky nightmares! People's dreams are invaded by monsters, ghosts and ghouls of the player's choice, just make sure they're scary. This affects sleep during the night from Monday into Tuesday, as well as any naps taken on Tuesday during the day.
Wednesday, October 23rd: Brother, can you spare a small gourd? All the loose change in your pockets turns into teeny tiny pumpkins.
Thursday, October 24th: Creepy clowns! Out of the corners of their eyes, people keep seeing creepy clowns standing menacingly at the ends of alleys and hallways, outside windows etc, doing nothing but watching you. As soon as you look straight at them, they're gone. It is definitely not concerning at all, no.
