Random Events Continue, Oh, You Lucky People!
Next week we are bringing back the Laundry Strike!
After a day with nothing but lemonade out the faucet, Fry, why are you mods so cruel?
To which we respond, "Mwahahaha."
So:
Monday, July 6: Laundry strike! None of the washers or dryers will work. And a July heatwave begins, so the temperature is hitting at least 100 (38) for the entire week. Again, we say "mwahahahaha."
Tuesday, July 7: Laundry strike continues, plus the squishee machine at T&C malfunctions, pouring a two-foot pile of lemon squishee in front of the store. (Which also attracts bees.) The clothing you are not currently wearing begins disappearing from your room at an alarming rate.Tahani and Alexis have nervous breakdowns.
Wednesday, July 8: More laundry, more striking! But the island has helpfully provided swimsuits for all, hanging from trees. No guarantees on how fashionable they are, of course.
Thursday, July 9: The heatwave finally breaks the electrical system, so now nothing turns on if you don't own/make a generator. Guessing Luke's and the ice cream shop are going to make a loooot of money the rest of the week.
Friday, July 10: Heatwave, black out and laundry strike continue! Your clothing is probably mostly gone at this point.
Saturday, July 11: Last day of the heatwave, black out, and laundry strike. Do you know what is a really good idea when everyone's tempers are frayed like this? TRUTH DAY. (Everything that comes out of your character's mouth is the truth as they see it. Subject, as always, to your discretion/wanting to play it.)
All clothing will be returned safe and sound on Sunday, and the washing machines and dryers will also be working!
