Last year I visited a bookstore that unexpectedly had what was basically a life-size statue of the Groke just chilling in the kids' section and lemme tell you, the five-year-old in me was TERRIFIED.

I remember when I found out the Moomins were Finnish. I was sixteen or seventeen and had been to Finland on vacation many times.

My reaction was, "Yeah, checks out."
