My office is silent, my boss isn't here and I have a giant case of the "I don't wanna"s. Let's meme.

We last did this one in January.

Tag in with your characters and then people will comment asking the MUNS anything about the GAME or THEIR CHARACTERS, because we all know the muns will answer when the characters won't. They can be specific questions ("How does he feel about her?") or general questions ("Why did you choose this character?", "How do you channel them?", etc).

Rey Rey Rey. It's so bad. Like to the point where I go "omg everyone's going to get so sick of her" and then decide I don't care as I gleefully put up/throw her in another post.

Alexis is loud but doesn't get as much opportunity to get out, and Jaye's actually been surprising me.

ALSO ALSO I'm endlessly fascinated by how a single dice roll, or a series of them, can change everything. Like everything that led up to Mollymauk's death, Pike's improbably (15-ish or lower out of 100 on a percentile dice roll) successful Divine Intervention in the fight with Vorugal, Keyleth's clutch successful Feeblemind on Raishan, Beau's clutch Stunning Strike on Lorenzo, Isharnai failing that wisdom save against Jester's Modify Memory (don't get me started on Laura's brilliant gambit in that scene), Caleb's Counterspell in the fight with Avantika that had Marisha and Travis physically mobbing Liam with hugs out of relief. Those moments are so tense and stressful and so epic when they work out.

Or when the dice rolls (in conjunction with character stats, granted) lead to some interesting character development arcs, like how Ashley's perpetual poor dice luck and plate armor penalty led to Pike being a notorious failure at stealth, and poor Yasha and her low wisdom score getting possessed and mind controlled CONSTANTLY.

Or when the dice lead to some absurd, ridiculously acrobatic, slapstick, cinematic, SUPER EXTRA midair romantic shenanigans, which is really just my thinly veiled excuse to link a video clip of Yasha and Beau being literal total disaster lesbians for 15 glorious insane minutes again. Don't judge me, that scene has been giving me life for two weeks.

So take two!

I have an entire spreadsheet of Haven canon and how to run through it with Fandom!Duke. I have literally never planned this much with any other character. It's exhilarating. Also terrifying. It maybe (probably) involves a BDE at some point. I am only five episodes into seventy-eight total, only maybe ten of which I'll be skipping wholesale. . . .

As for Mae . . . I originally thought about having her go through her canon after she graduates, and I don't necessarily NOT still want to do that, but it's a wayyyyyyyy more nebulous "plan" than with Duke. (That is not hard, mind you, Duke's is ridiculously detailed.) But having Fandom people come to Possum Springs for the evil goat god cabal would be faaabulous. . . .

Oh, everyone! I think he'd get along well with Alexis, actually. He's a guy who loves a party. He's roommates with Eleanor, which could be fun for the same reason. He's a prodigy inventor, so I'd love to have him talk to Shuri. (His inventions are powered by magic, not science, but he still got to blow something up while inventing and run out of the room trailing smoke, so it counts.)

He used to get into trouble - and get other people into trouble - back in school. I could see him hanging out with Troy Barnes.

The fun of Fandom is that you never know who's going to click, so I'm here for all of it.

Timezones are a thing again and all of our brains coming back from *waves at the everything* but I miss threading with Len, Bron, and Corrie from when I was more awake when they were awake.

In general, I need to stop hiding from big common rooms and stuff with my students. Tahani needs to make more frenemies!

Balancing the fact that he genuinely cares about his people and has grown incredibly in that area over the years with the fact that he is a narcissist who was emotionally kneecapped in his childhood and barely knows what he's doing. I always want to FIX THINGS to MAKE THEM HEALTHIER but I have to accept that Lucifer sometimes just has to be a dumb-dumb.

My best friend said, "Do you want to watch a Korean Leverage with con artists and bonus mermaids?"

And after I was done making shrill noises of excitement that bothered the neighborhood dogs, I instantly said yes. Toph and I watch a ton of K-dramas and anime together so, like, this was just more of the same.

BUT SUCH DELIGHTFUL CRACK. And I knew I'd have to throw out most of the show plot to bring her here but...she's just hilarious and fun and I adored her from the minute she punches the lead across the room.

But if I had to throw out some itches that haven't been scratched, I would loooove to see what happens when we throw Troy and Alexis together, I still find it a shame that Janet and Wayne don't interact more, I really need to throw Rosa at our Hawaii dicks more often, Freya and Mae should be way more of a thing because my sense of humor is really dumb, I keep wanting to throw Amaya at Yasha but have failed to get around to it, I could really go on for a while, how much time do we have? Let me just pull up the character list....

Baaasically everyone, speaking in generalities. I'm always down for More Threads!

More specifically, I'd like Elli to talk to Astrid more. And I also seem to recall Alexis mentioning showing Elli More Of The World way back at the newbie shuttle and I would be so down for that because she's so very sheltered. So very. I'd like her to make some friends, but her lack of them is really due to me not existing for the last few months.

Niiiiiiiiiiiinaaaaaaaaaaa is coming back (Thursday! This Thursday!) which basically means she NEEDS to talk to everyone ever! So I want EVERY. SINGLE. THREAD.

I'd kind of like Alluka to spend some time making some townie friends. The problem is she's younger compared to them, even though she's an adult in terms of age.

Iiiiiiiiii need to figure out what I'm doing with Iris. The whole mess that went down robbed Iris of her closest people and one of the only reasons she hasn't been dropped is because I resent the hell out of the idea of dropping a character because of someone else's drama.

Cait just needs to get out, babble incoherently at people, and if he makes friends, cool?

Rufus / Karina / Yeul are all in the limbo of I'm not ready to let them go but I haven't had the energy to do much with them so… we'll see? IDEK I remain kind of terrible at alumni/ex-pats.

At the time, in my opinion, Octavia was (and still is, three and a half seasons later!) the most dynamic character in her canon. I was excited to play someone that adaptable who still had a very specific point of view, thanks to her odd upbringing and her subsequent time on the Ground. She had layers and issues that I was eager to poke at, and she has not disappointed in either regard.
