Event: Oktoberfest!
Hello! Since we can't do things in real life because the world is a hellscape of disease and stupidity, why not do it in game?
On Saturday, September 19th, we're bring Oktoberfest to the island! It will be an all-day party, where both bars will have beer gardens alongside moddable food stalls throughout the area. Local businesses can also have their own booths to sell food and wares. A post will go up on Saturday and you'll be able to make your own thread to man your own booth.
Do you want polka music? You got polka music! Do you want a wooden cuckoo clock? Sure you do! How about an excuse to buy lederhosen? You have one, and you'd better wear it!
