Random Events!
Hey all! Hope you're having a nice, sunny day with not nearly as much physical exercise as I was just forced to engage in.
We've got two random events upcoming in the next two weeks. First, this Thursday, May 26th, we'll have a good ol' Truth Day! That means that from 00:01 in the morning to 23:59 at night, affected characters cannot lie. At all. Everything they do say, must be the whole truth.
Then on Wednesday, June 1st, we will have a KRAKEN DRILL in the early hours of the morning. What's a Kraken Drill? Well, the town administration has realized that fires are by far not the only disasters Fandom may have to deal with. So they're trying to prepare you for other calamities. Like Krakens.
Sirens will go off early in the morning, and the island-wide PA system will inform all citizens that KRAKEN! KRAKEN!, PLEASE GO TO TOWN CENTER, AWAY FROM THE SHORES, AND TIE YOURSELF TO THE NEAREST AVAILABLE OBJECT.
It will then inform you that this is a drill. Ahem.
We will toss up a city center post on that Wednesday for you all to boggle, sigh, groan to each other, demand caffeine delivery, or refuse to tie yourself to anything BUT the Dite's mascot. If you so wish.
