I have had a crazy six days. Or possibly three months. And yes it's crazy early or crazy late depending on the time zone but I say PING INTO THIS ALL (WEDNES)DAY IF YOU WANT, we haven't done it in a year and a half.

Your character has ingested a large quantity of truth potion. Any questions asked of them, they have to answer truthfully, whether they want to or not! There's absolutely no way around it.

Also, be nice and take things OOC if it starts feeling like something you should maybe take OOC. And as always with memes -- you can use OOC knowledge, and none of this has any bearing on anything IC.

Weird. Everything's familiar but I feel like a different person so there's a disconnect, and I've been avoiding a lot of the things that were the most familiar because of that.

I don't think of the Lana of it as awkward, aside from knowing that getting to know each other again is going to involve talking about the things that caused that disconnect feeling.

Steven: I know Llewellyn says it doesn't bother him but I don't like the limitations placed on us by Marc and my's situation. That I can't give Llewellyn all my time. Or that there's things we can't have or do because of what I am, like marriage or children. Which I suppose is much stronger than an annoyance but there we are. Something that doesn't make me happy, certainly.

Marc: It's fucking whatever. The house and who's in it keeps me busy enough while I'm waiting for other shit to do. As for anything else I don't want it so why waste time on it? Steven has things he wants to do. He's got friends and Watts. Let him take pilot for a while. He took back seat to me long enough.

Like I'm on the verge of meaningfully unscrewing my life, moving on, and doing something good and useful with myself as a person that doesn't involve breaking off pieces of myself and flinging them in the incinerator. It's a strange and heady feeling.

Of course I'm also me, I don't trust it, and there's still plenty of situations and people I have to navigate carefully so I don't trip my overdeveloped flight instincts.
