I think Sora's referring to the RPG concept regarding How Much Shit Can You Carry With You On Your Person. Some games have characters with limited space, others have characters who have pockets that tap into a different dimension, allowing them to carry around basically anything.

Yep! That's it exactly.

Sometimes it's also known as Hammerspace, but that's more of an anime term because of the ramdom giant plastic toy hammers characters would pull out and whack each other with. ^^;;

Hammer space? Huh. I've always seen it referred to as "pocket dimension," though that might be from Sailor Moon fandom way back in the day.

I'm guessing the hammer thing came from Ranma 1/2? Ahh...Akane Tendo and her hammer that sends you into lower earth orbit...

I would guess that it's specific to the characters. If they have a pocket dimension from which they pull hammers in the series, they have it here. Or someone could teach them how to carry more / make a pocket dimension. Beyond that... anything goes. :)
