Re: Tags & Links

'K...

So... I found out that, because FH is a free account... I have to do a little more work to get the tags list set up.

I have to set up a stylesheet and edit it and upload it to my website and then use it to 'override' the actual style sheet (or something...)

I'm willing to attempt it, despite my severe lack of html coding knowledge... however, if anyone wants to help, I'd be eternally grateful :)

My question is - with a free account, don't you need to do overrides in the S1 Style System, which doesn't support tags? Or am I wrong on that?

I can pony up $5 to upgrade the account for a few months if that would make your life easier. You can use S2 and just modify the code on the layer. I think there are some good flexsquares tutorials out there that would basically do the coding for you.

Even with a paid account, the "links list" has a limit -- it's 30 links, rather than 5 for free users. Would that be enough?

There's always the option of putting in a single link to this page (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/tag/), which just gives you a list of tags. If you can fiddle with the style for the tag page so that it really is only a list of tags, you can stick that in an iframe, and you're sorted.

Oh dear, my brain hurts now.

No worries. I just paid up fandomhigh for six months. I have the spare cash and I'm completely insane, so why not?
