Because I'm just curious like that, I made up a simple poll to see what the average (as if any of us is average! ^_^) Fandom High player is like. Please, feel free to skip questions, ignore the poll, whatever, but give me some feedback too. If you hate it, let me know and I'll never do it again. It's the political science geek in me. ^_^

*grin* I'm a sucker for polls and surveys.

It seems like every time something fandom-related has a gender poll, the females make up three quarters of the population. Odd, that.

Of course, this is only out of my own experience.

Yeah, fandom is pretty much 3/4 women wherever you go. Even in the male-oriented media fandoms, I think the women are more likely to get involved in the fandom part.

Well, it does make sense. I mean, women, on the whole, are much more socially orientated than men are, I think. So it only stands to reason that if there's any group of people that share an interest and who also happen to be women, they're gonna want to get together and yak about it. hehe

I mean, I've been in the online gaming world (though there are a lot of female gamers, I have only ever talked to and been friends with a handful in my time) and it's predominantly filled to bursting with guys and ... I don't know, it's just not the same, y'know?
