Administrative Notice

Today is the day I said I would be suspending community memberships (or, actually, just posting access) for students and faculty/staff if you did not have contact information on your info page. Today is also rather past the deadline for the faculty forms and also for faculty to have updated their info pages to include class/syllabus information.

If you suddenly find yourself not a member, please make the adjustments as requested/required here and here and place a comment below and you will be re-added.

This will probably take me most of the day to sift through.

Also on today's agenda is to put out an application form for the Townies. It will follow the same lines as that for the faculty and you have until 10/16 to fill it out and mail it in. It is also required that you have a valid e-mail on your info page. It would be extremely helpful if you included information regarding your character/business, including hours of operation and/or rules of conduct, but not a requirement.

I realize that a number of the Townies are existing in a sort of limbo and, as there are no posting requirements at this time, that's fine. We do, however, need to know that you still exist and that is the function of this form. We're taking a survey so we know who is actually still present and interested in playing.

Everyone should have fandomhigh_ooc friended and read it daily as it has been stated several times that this is the community wherein we make administrative announcements. I am not going to be particularly sympathetic if people send me e-mail complaining that they've lost access but don't know why.

Please keep up on the rules. Please read the administrative announcements. We're trying to make player interaction as easy and pleasurable as possible by encouraging communication and easy access to information. Your cooperation will, hopefully, make the game easier to follow and more fun all the way around.

As long as the e-mail is there and you have links to voice-mail/e-mail/office hours, syllabus and class schedule... I'm fine with as much tinkering to the rest of it as you like.

((OOC: need to know if Maia's mother can come to the school to collect Maia. Maia is about to get sick and policy states that she must return to quarantine when that happens I.E. MUN is going to be in L.A. for 11 days. Can Diana come and get her, with another journal I was going to set up for Parents day and have her question Tara as to what happened to Maia or how does that work? This was not my original plan for why Maia had to leave when the MUN but it does work with Maia's canon that Diana would come for her and question what is going on and why is she sick.))

Does House need to fill out a faculty form? He's not teaching, per se, but he iss overseeing students and such...So if he does need to fill it out, I'll grovel at your feet to not suspend him or anything.

I remain a member, but as of about two hours ago my posting access has disappeared.

In your previous administrative announcements, you asked for "email links" to be visible, which I took to mean a link to the voicemail post in my own journal, which has always been there. Assuming now that you were referring to the email address, I've now (post-suspension) made this visible.

Application forms for all three of my characters (this one and two townies) have previously been sent to your gmail address.

Please let me know if there's anything else I need to do, I've studied the announcements and I can't work out what I might have missed.

I've just adopted Daniel, and as such, have no clue as to where the faculty form or anything actually is.

And I'm currently working on updating his information page with the information required.
