Quick reminders about the radio

In a continuing fight to make sure my friendslist is as up-to-date as possible (I can't report about what I don't see), I'm asking for a couple more sets of eyes over it. If you could look here and make sure that your characters are on there (I believe I caught all of the latest round of new townies, but I don't want to be leaving anyone behind), I'd be most appreciative.

As a reminder for newcomers, anything you don't want included in the radio broadcast must be marked as such--either as "private" "OOC" "locked to [so, so, so, and whoever, even if "whoever" is "everyone in the whole school but Barbossa"]" or "NFB (not for broadcast)." With more than 280 individual journals, as well as some insanely active communities, the recappers just can't spend the time we used to triple-checking to make sure that the status of the conversation hasn't changed since we pulled it--which we do towards the end of every night. If you don't want the thread to be included, please, please, please be marking it as such.

Similarly, if your room/house/office/whatever has magically Twinkie-induced force-fields or something that would make it impossible for us to hear what's going on, please note it in the post. The recappers are reporting on every single plot that shows up in a given day and occasionally forget canon-specific rules that would bar us from hearing your nefarious plotting/hot sex/screaming fight.

One final thing: if you want to put [livejournal.com profile] fandom_radio on your friendslist, please be sure to friend it rather than attempt to join the community. If you attempt to join the community, I'll assume you want to join the staff and you'll be given the thrill of trying to make sense of the daily Study Hall entry.

If you do want to join our staff of insane buccaneers (and we're always looking for masochists OCD-types more help), drop me a line in this entry or in the Pirate's voicemail. We're looking for researchers who will agree to read a community or set of journals as well as recappers to actually do a nightly broadcast. And please don't think that your character has to speak pirate or be an Ash-like shock jock or snarky like Faith to speak once a week: if you're willing to do the work (and it's a lot of work--a couple hours a night of coding and making with the funny), we're more than happy to have you.

And thank you all, again and always, for being so much fun to report on.
