"Life is Short" party?

Would people be OOC upset/offended if Logan threw a "Life is Short" party on Saturday? I was thinking a pool party/BBQ event in the afternoon. It could be a way for people to get distracted, blow off some steam, etc. And I'm fine with people getting upset/offended at Logan IC. It could be cathartic for some characters to blow up at him for being callous. (It's not that he doesn't care, BTW, it's just that this is how he deals.)

I think it fits perfectly with canon, considering.

But I'd be careful how he presents it - you may want him to talk to Rory first, because she'll be able to spin it so that fewer people get upset IC, including herself. Otherwise, he's going to have a really upset girlfriend on his hands, not to mention a ton of other people.

I think it's a cool idea. We do things like this RL when tragedy hits.. we call them 'mood breakers', because otherwise, the negative mood just spirals. So we do something huge and fun and try to get past the sad to remembering all the positive things. It helps.

IC and OOC I think it's fine. Everyone deals with grief their own way, and IC Beka thinks any distraction from the mounting pressures is a good thing.
