Hacked????

Is anyone else finding that when they try to upload a new icon this morning, that they get anything BUT what they were supposed to get? I keep trying to upload my Faire icon and I keep getting someone's random icon that I've never seen before that sure as hell didn't come off of *my* desktop.

Okay, the icon is really, REALLY bad, but I spent a good chunk of time on it and I want to use it. Has my account been hacked or is this systemic? If it matters, I have a free account.

ETA: I just saw one of CJ's posts that has one of the 'bogus' icons I got when I was trying to upload. So I guess it's systemic. Anyone know who we bitch to?

Argh.

I think it's problems from the switchover to the servers in San Francisco. I know I'm not getting all my friends' posts showing up on my friend's page and it's all just slower than molasses. (My icon upload worked all right, though it did glitch in the beginning.)

Servers went down at midnight PST last night so they could be moved or something, so I think there are still glitches. I think you can probably check out LJ support if it's still doing it later, or if you just wanna give them a heads up.

Last night I went from having some random Lilly Kane icon, to having a red X to having this weird confirm code thing I've got now. Additionally, my icons in other threads I'm still finishing are fubar'd. They're still working on the Scrapbook features, and I have a feeling it's effecting icons too.

*is annyed but will ride it out*

Had it too. Deleted the weirdness and uploaded the right one.

Is anybody else noticing that postings show up on the wrong thread? I replied to one of the threads in the RennFaire and my post showed up with the correct subject line (meaning that it was treated as a reply) but in the main post rather than in a thread.

Sigh.

If nobody's told you, yes, the bad icon thing is LJ-wide, not just you.

I know that happens if you refresh the page after you've already clicked on the 'reply to this' link. I've done that several times switching character logins and refreshing afterwards. It should post properly if you simply click the 'reply' link again after refreshing and before posting.

Oh, thank you a thousand times. Now I know what I did; it was precisely in a login-switching situation.
