Hey museum staff..

If one of you could kindly start a museum post, I'd appreciate it. The hours say it's open today, but there's no post.

For future reference: How are we supposed to handle situations like this? The Perk and Lukes have said players can mod it being open, but other businesses prefer that only staff open - so what do we characters do when it's supposed to be open but staff hasn't done it yet? Can we mod being there in our own journals, provided we don't do anything like burn it down, or is the business just inexplicably closed IG?

Since there are business owners that would like to maintain control over their businesses, unless they open (or their employees open) the store, it should be considered IG closed.

I'll add that to my things to touch on in an Admin announcement.

Amanda gave her employees permission to open it, and Beka is the assistant curator. But there's no way Beka can be at the museum today. It'd be totally OOC. Sorry!

I think y'all are missing the point. Your characters don't need to be there, but if the place is open, we kinda need a post for it or we can't play there. There's no rule saying you can't have an NPC open the place, but one of the employees actually has to make the post. As per Red's last post.. if nobody opens a post for it, it's closed IG. :(

Nah, not missing the point. Amanda-mun hasn't given us permission to let an NPC open the museum. So one of us actually has to be there.
