Avocados!

Thanks to Kiki's magic gone awry, there are hideous purple and green avocados popping up all over town. Kiki has realized that, believing the avocado situation to have been diffused, she brought some into the dorm and used them on John's MiniGolf course that evening, so the dorm is likely infected, as well. Anyone is free to find the horrific technicolor fruit about the town and school as you like. Kiki and Aziraphale are currently working on getting rid of them.

As far as Kiki (or I) know, they're completely edible. :) She'd started to get rid of them by making guacamole (purple, of course) and then discovered that no matter how many she chopped up, their numbers never seemed to decrease.

Where I live, Mexican food is practically a staple. *plans evil trip to the store and the possibility of lunch at a local Mexican food place*

Oooohhhh... *jealous!* I live in the northeast, so it's pretty much "take what you can get." Although my Mexico-City-born-and-raised BF said the place I took him to was actually pretty decent, so that's a good endorsement!

I swear every fourth restaurant in Tucson is Mexican. Including a chain that has its roots in Mexico City. Dang, now I really want Mexican food!

That sounds sooooooooo yummy. The northeast has a big mix of everything, and a pretty high number of semi- or pseudo-Irish pubs. Nice, as I can get Japanese one night and Indian the next :)
