Omg I thought I was the ONLY ONE who noticed the SkiFree monster!! I seriously stared at the banner for a long time expecting it to be animated and him start gobbling up the LiveJournal sign. XD *loves*

It was an incredibly low-tech game where you ski down a mountain. The designers never bothered actually making an end to the mountain, just put the bottom on a loop. What would eventually happen is the monster (Bigfoot? He's in the corner under the LJ pencil on the banner) would run out and grab the skiier and eat him up. If you were good, you could avoid the monster and ski past him until the next time he showed up. I think I managed to avoid him 3 times before I finally got eaten.
