Leaving Characters

This is what's called 'Having No Clue'. It's a common state for me.

I know that a number of people are leaving FH for greener pastures fandom_tropolis, I just don't know who is.

Do we yet have a list of departing characters? Townies and students?

Well, that works, too. The details!details! nitpicker in me just wants to know the specifics of who exactly is leaving. All listed in one nice place. In alphabetical order.

She hasn't been bold enough to walk into Caritas by herself - except back in the early days of the bar when all was calm and quiet things were a little slower.

I'm trying to get her there with another townie (possibly when othertownie-mun gets out of exams) and would love to meet a few more students/people, though!

And a handful of players are straddling both games. If your transferring fully from FH to FT, you can keep your old FH lj. If straddling, you have a mirror journal so as not to confuse, I think.

Ah, see, I forgot about the mirror journals. That confuses me further because I know people are playing in both.

But yeah, I would like to know which FH players aren't gonna be around in future. Dead, disappeared, defunct, defaulting, dusted, driven away, Dementor'd...whatever.

I know Harry's been in two games at one time, with his former mun, but without a mirror journal. It's all very funky with friends filters and all, but apparently it can be done 0.o

As for a list, the admin for fandomhigh is having all students and teachers submit a form - anyone who doesn't turn it in is seen as leaving or inactive, from what I understand.

As for fandomtownies, that'd be _red_xiii_'s decision on whether to do something similar to weed out inactive or moving/leaving characters.

I'm still doing the friending/defriending updates and I'm trying to keep an eye out for anyone who specifically is leaving, transferring or who I haven't seen posting in a long long while. That list will be up at the end of term in order to make a smooth(ish) transition.

Have I mentioned how much I appreciate your friending/defriending OCD for this game? Seriously, you rock for it. (And on that note, Dru's still in the game; she's just not been all that posty recently.)

She's on the defriending list only to be transferred on the friending list to townies status. :)

And hee, no problem. It bugs me having journals friended that I don't need to be there, but it annoys me just as much to not have everyone who's active friended too. And doing it for everyone makes me organize it much better. *g*

That makes perfect sense to me. (She works for Spike. Really. The fact that he would never, ever make her lift a finger to do anything in the pub that she didn't want to do? Totally pointless and irrelevant, right?)

See? It works out this way for you, me, and everyone else. And you get many adulations for it! Because, seriously, it needs to be done, and you make everyone's lives easier.

Well, it's not exactly what was wanted - I knew of the FT enrolments list already. I was hoping for a specific "These people have left FH" kind of thing rather than a "these people are playing at FT".

eg. Some characters (Tara, Shane, Bagoas) are obviously leaving FH. But others are uncertain: is CJ Cregg leaving FH? Her last LJ post indicates that something is gonna happen to her character regarding 'tying up loose ends' - and I'm guessing she's playing the new CJ at FT...

But I don't know. Not for sure.

Nope, I'm staying. I've agreed to teach and I have an evil new class even (401)! LOL.

The loose ends are other plot stuff entirely.

Over there, that's for my own fun with some other stuff I want to do with CJ that just doesn't fit at FH. Gamer junkie I am, I've run variations of the same character in like 5 different Paladium games or D&D games, so this ain't nothing to me. As long as no one else gets confused...and if you do, just ask! I'm ever so chatty.
